TGI’s Sushi in San Jose serves very good quality sushi and is the go-to sushi place in the area between the airport and Milpitas. I have eaten here about 8 times, for business or casual lunches or dinners. The food, including a variety of Japanese appetizers, Nigiri sushi, a wide variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and Japanese soups, has always been impeccable and of very good taste. The team is very friendly and gives good advice on the food. They have a separate room for larger group, which is good for 6-12 people or so.
My only suggestion for improvements would be to add more vegan and vegetarian options to the menu, to accommodate the growing group of colleagues who don’t eat fish or meat.

Decent service - not so decent food.
Anything from the sushi bar is okay; cooked food is pretty consistently terrible unless you order something deep-fried. Had one of the worst oyakodon in my life (less actual oyakodon and more an unseasoned lump of overcooked scrambled egg w. chicken, fish cake, and somehow undercooked assorted vegetables over rice).
Service is good, staff are friendly and attentive.
Atmosphere is a mix. Interior decoration looks decent, however, the endless k-pop hits playing on every screen are something of an assault on the senses.

Good sushi but I got sick from their California roll so beware as a celiac it might contain gluten. I haven't gone back since.
Best sweet shrimp…legitimate sushi artisan
Attentive service

I've tried this restaurant a couple of times now -- udon noodles and Nabe. While I enjoyed the Udon more, the broths were both good (and similar). Have not tried rolls or other items. Definitely a better option than the surrounding fast food chains.

I went into Restaurant on Friday, August 1 at approximately five P.M. had I known that they have been shut down by the County for rodents and roaches in their facility. I would’ve never walked in.
I did See the sign regarding them being close for maintenance. I did not know it was Covering the sign from the County for closure.
Absolutely. Nasty. I will never return..

Excellent sashimi and very good sushi. The nigiri could have been a bit better but was good nevertheless. The shrimp tempura and hamachi tartar were excellent. I think that the sashimi and bento boxes are probably the best options in this place.

This place does carding be careful with your payment
Chicken Teriyaki, Yose Nabe & California Roll are not bad, it has nothing to do with TGI’s Friday though🤣
I go here at least once a month.Always good quality, kind service and an enjoyable dinner.
Our new sushi favorite. Very fresh, generous portions of sashimi on every dish. Excellent hot dishes and bento boxes too. Highly recommend. Ample parking, always room for guests, private rooms too.
Affordable, good quality, nice service.
