This is our go to sushi spot that we order through DoorDash. Always packaged very thoughtfully! Pictured is the honeymoon roll, tekka maki, CA rolls, Philly rolls and CA deluxe roll. Not pictured but always tasty is the fried CA roll. We’ll continue to order from here and looking forward to dining in someday soon!

This place was awesome. The Maverick roll was really good. It’s different but highly recommend. Very large sized rolls but it wasn’t because it was just a bunch of rice. Good quality ingredients. I’m writing this review to remind me to come back.

Tried this place out because it had 4 stars on yelp but the food was underwhelming. TGI's Sushi's menu is huge so maybe we just picked the wrong items. Giving stars for the tuna poke which was seasoned well and fresh + gyoza. Spicy tuna crispy rice had about no tuna on top and it did not taste spicy at all. The peter roll had tempura on the inside which was not crunchy and the spicy crab on top was very stringy and dry with no flavor. I was so excited for the seared toro nigiri but biting into it made me gag. This "toro" was not buttery or melts in your mouth like it usual is. It was tendon-y and hard to chew through. I had to spit both pieces out. Such a disappointment, especially for the higher cost. Quality is not great.

Glad we found this sushi place not too far from us! It's been hard to find a sushi place that's not too far, has good food, and with a decent price. We usually end up driving to Sunnyvale or even Fremont. My brother and I were looking for a sushi place that we haven't tried before and noticed this small sushi place near SJC! We came here for dinner and we weren't disappointed!The parking is a lot that's shared with a couple of other small food places. It's easy to miss the parking lot entrance because it's also within a larger parking lot for the surrounding business buildings. But the plus size ti sharing parking with the business buildings is that there's always plenty of parking. We've actually been back here at least twice and we've never had any issues with parking.They had a lot of great options on the menu but one of my favorites is unagi (eel)! They had an entree called Unagi Lover which is an unagi roll with more unagi on top. I was so excited because most sushi restaurants don't have very many rolls that are just unagi. It was really delicious and I was honestly full after just eating that alone! I think it comes with 6-8 pieces so I would definitely say it's enough for 1 person alone. Or if you order another roll, then it would definitely be good to share.The service was just okay when we got there. It was a little slow, but definitely understandable since it was dinner time and it looked like there was only 1 or 2 server in the entire restaurant. But in terms of how fast the food came out, it was actually really fast! We ordered a little appetizer and the food came out a couple minutes after the appetizer! There was 1 instance where I ordered a chicken teriyaki entree and they gave me the smallest cup of rice I've ever seen, I was actually pretty disappointed.We've been back here a couple of times and we'll continue to come back.

The food is usually very good at this place, but maybe I am getting too picky. I was having lunch with one of my colleagues, he ordered the Salmon Teriyaki, and I ordered the 2-item Bento Box with beef teriyaki, spicy tuna roll, and Tempura with no shrimp, just vegetables. The salmon teriyaki came and was good, my bento box came and the first thing I noticed was the shrimp in the tempura, and I am very allergic to shrimp. They took it back and brought the vegetable tempura. The beef teriyaki and the tempura was really good. The spicy tuna roll was terrible, spicy and did not taste good. I could not eat more than too pieces. Service was good, but I have to start sending some of this food back, it is just disappointing.
