Food was great, we ordered crawfish, shrimp and snow crab. All was fresh and delicious ? we arrived around 12:30 and our waiting time was about 30 minutes. The staff was friendly, the whole experience was pretty good.

Hands down the best seafood restaurant in San Jose. The only problem you'll find is the long wait, but they do their best to accommodate and I can't blame them for being busy or popular! Our waiter, Dao or Del, not sure, was a superstar. He gave us great personalized recommendations and made sure to check on us occasionally in case we needed anything. He was very attentive and down to earth, a total pleasure to deal with. So far, I've been there about 8 or 9 times, and last night was the first time there was an actual issue, but I didn't realize that until this morning. One of the bags we ordered was the live crawfish, which the host mentioned to us when we were seated. Unfortunately, we didn't receive that order, and I only realized that this morning. I'm sure they didn't mean to rip us off or anything like that, it was definitely a mistake, but it IS disappointing to realize you spent money on food you never received. It would also be nice if the bathrooms had paper towels instead of hand dryers. Other than the missing crawfish and the hand dryers, everything else is close to perfection. Atmosphere is awesome, lots of TVs playing sports, and lots of happy families enjoying themselves. I really like how people can write their names and messages all over the walls, something authentic that is hard to describe about that!

We ordered king crab, snow crab, shrimp, and crawfish. The crab is good, while the shrimp seems not very fresh. Fresh shrimp in my mind is a little crisp but that one was not.

Delicious This is the best Cajun seafood In the country , All their menu is amazing and they just cook it perfectly. We come with the kids at least two times per month.their micheladas give them extra points. It is so great that we have waited a couple of times over 1 hour to get seated.Kid-friendliness: Menue for the non spicy eaters

The food was delicious, but we had to wait for about 1 hour and 45 minutes to be served. The weekends are normally super busy.

While out touring properties in San Jose, we decided to stop by Boiling Crab for an early dinner. The wait wasn't bad, considering it was around 3 PM and they open at 2pm, we only had to wait about 20 minutes. What i like J’s as we wait we are able to enjoy a drink of our choice while waiting for a table. The food was delicious, although I noticed that the shrimp bags seemed to have less sauce this time around. It felt like they had reduced the amount of sauce, prompting us to order extra sauce for an additional charge, which wasn't a big issue, but it was a noticeable difference compared to previous visits. Despite this, the overall service was exceptional, as always. The waitress was consistently friendly and attentive throughout our meal. One interesting observation was that they allowed a lady to sell balloons to customers, which provided a unique form of entertainment, especially for children. Overall, I definitely recommend this spot. Arriving earlier to beat the crowd and minimize wait times is advisable, given that they open at 2 PM.
