Oh my gosh!!!! My family and I are on vacation driving through California. We stayed in San Jose for a couple nights. We parked in downtown to check things out. I Googled places for dinner and The Club on Post came up with good reviews. The website offered reservations and I booked one. We walked in and were greeted by Alena. She was a doll!!! She was also our server, she was super friendly and helpful. I knew this was my place, the music they had playing in the background was amazing, loud enough to hear it but quiet enough you can still have a conversation. I don't know if the music playing is always 2000s.... But it was that night, and they had Friends playing on the screen. The vibe was just so amazing.... But, now I'm showing my age. Ohh the food, so good. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich and my husband ordered the burger and we swapped halves.... Oh man the burger and sandwich were both delicious. We ordered dessert too. The molten lava cake was bomb!!! The creme brulee was amazing too. It was such a happy accident we stumbled across The Club. Alena definetly made our night.

In SJ on a business trip, I popped in late on a Sunday for brunch after flying all day. The chilaquiles are amazing, and everything else on the menu was enticing, wish I could have tried more. The bar is small, only 6 seats, but don’t let that detract you. Some indoor dining and a good amount of outdoor seating as well. Service and tunes were great too 😊.

We had a wonderful mean at The Club. The service is always top notch. And the food.....well it was absolutely delicious. The three of us all had some thing different. We ordered the Salman risotto, the Chicken sandwich and the Volka pasta with Shrimp. Every dish was perfect. The presentation, the portion and the flavors were just perfect. Oh yes, and the Espresso martinis we perfect. I can wait for our next visit.

A real find! My favorite place in San Jose. Amazing food across entire breakfast, lunch & dinner menus. Friendly service. Family owned.
Caters well to large groups too.

The Club is a great restaurant in downtown San Jose. It’s cozy inside but the vibe is great. This was our second time there and both were amazing. All of the food is plated
Beautifully. The Chicken and Waffles are great. Crunchy chicken an a nice fluffy waffle. The Horchatta French toast is a basically a dessert but it’s so good. Their burger is great choice as well. The staff has been great to us so far. Glad we found this place. Now we have another great place to eat downtown!

Been here over 10 times. If you want the best drink in SJ ask Kat for the Sabrina Carpenter. Best Espresso martinis in the area. Best Calamari in a mile. Great food and good people make this a top spot in San Jose to visit. Daily and weekly menu so check before.

Not many vegetarian options but the staff was kind enough to modify some of the dishes for me. I wish they had some hot beverages too especially around breakfast/brunch hours.

Went for brunch recently to meet up with friends. There were only two other parties but I quickly noticed how the conversations and kitchen sounds combined to make the space overwhelmingly noisy. We were sat in front of the wall projecting muted clips of the Friends tv show which felt a bit out of place to me, however, an employee seemed to enjoy it as I often saw her leaning over the bar to watch. I was excited to try the “spirited aguas frescas” for which you can mix and match your choice of agua fresca and liquor; I ordered the passion fruit with tequila and it was tasty! For my entree I ordered the roasted beet salad, and although there was no indication that I noticed on the menu, the waitress asked about adding protein so I chose chicken. Not sure if it was an additional cost but I was disappointed by the meal. The salad was presented nicely but didn’t have much flavor, was unexpectedly cold, and the chicken was dry. At the very least, the staff was polite and attentive to our water glasses. Still, that won’t be enough to make me come again.

My boyfriend and I really enjoy eating at this place! The food is delicious and the waiters are attentive and nice. The only thing I would say is it's VERY expensive. It was $130 for the two of us to get brunch. But again, the food is REALLY good. Attached is a photo of the shrimp and grits which are TO DIE FOR. Their chilaquiles, chicken sandwich, and truffle fries are also very yummy. We've ate here twice. If you're wanting to splurge on a fun brunch date, I'd go for it! But if you're trying to be more budget friendly I'd go somewhere else.

Very clean and friendly brunch place! I got the chicken and waffles ($24) and he got the vodka pasta ($24) YUM. Our server, Alena was very sweet and attentive. We also got 2 mimosas and 2 bloody marys. Total came out to $115 (without tip). A lil pricy but very nice. Thanks! Also they have hangers for your purses :)

Cool neighborhood eatery snuggled along the Post Street alley. We were out on a morning walk, noticed this place, liked the menu, and decided to pop in. Small footprint, which makes for a cozy environment. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered a few dishes for breakfast and enjoyed them all (although could do without the microgreens on the French toast). Motivated to come back for future lunch and dinner.

Food was good, the chilaquiles was good except it comes with runny egg that is not marked with food safety warning.
The place is very small and the tables are so cramped you feel like you are sitting with the people next to you. Servers were bumping into each other - literally - they need to do one line of tables only and not two. The bathroom was not neat and clean especially for a place with high prices.

Great food and service, but the place is pretty small and the noise level is pretty high when it gets busy. Some acoustic panels on the walls would do wonders for their ambience.
