My daughter and I had oysters and clams chowder. The best oysters ever but we both got the worse case of food poisoning.

Pan roast is a solid 10 at Dive Osyter Bar! We were just so happy that we found this cause we don’t have to go to Vegas just to fall in line for 2 hrs at the Palace Station Oyster Bar. Their pan roast is a MATCH! I have to admit it surprised me and my family. The fries and fried oyster are surprisingly so good as well because in restaurants, this side foods are often oily, soggy, not really well seasoned, but at Dive Oyster Bar it was perfectly fried, hella tasty and just a firework on every bite. The crew is so professional and accommodating, very smart people! The restaurant is pretty clean as well. Good vibes at the restaurant. Definitely gonna come back here!

Food was subpar and service just not good. My child’s order was completely forgotten. Spent over $100 and left having to stop somewhere else to feed my daughter. Was super excited to come here and left disappointed.

If you love oysters, Dive Oyster Bar is def a must-try! They had such a wide selection of oysters and I got to try seven different types. I found out my favorite ones, the Royal Miyagi. I also tried their mussels and fries, bacon wrapped shrimp and lobster roll, which were all solid. But I would say the star of the show were the oysters.

The space was very clean and I like the nautical mirror on the wall that adds for a playful vibe. Our server was very personable and friendly and give us great recommendations.

Came here on a Friday night for the first time. Made 6:15pm reservations for 4 adults, arrived at 5:55pm, restaurant was not full, maybe only 3 tables filled. Took some time to look at the menu to decide. Asked the waitress immediately if we could order a few oysters for the Happy Hour price ($2/each instead of $3.75) as that goes until 6pm and she said yes. We had to ask for water, it wasn't brought out when we sat down After looking at looking at the menu a bit and asking the waitress to explain what the pan roast is, we decided on ordering this: For the table: 1/2 dozen oysters (Miyagi & Steamboat) My father: Shrimp Louis Salad & Fried Oysters His Partner: The Dive Chowder My husband: House Pan Roast Me: The Dive Chowder & Fried Oysters Waitress said the fried oysters were out as they didn't get their delivery, so I asked to see the menu again, but they she said never mind, they have it (I got confused here) Now understand the restaurant was us at this point and maybe 2-3 other tables. Got our 1/2 dozen raw oysters fairly quickly. Taste, they were just ok. Not very sweet and tasted a bit on the mushy side. I've had better This is where is starts to go way downhill. My father's salad came out next, and then the 2 sets of fried oysters maybe a few minutes afterwards. Then it was a REALLY REALLY long wait. My father was almost finished with his large salad before my husband's Pan Roast came out, maybe about 15 minutes. Husband has asked for it with rice, but it was Pasta and I had to tell the waitress and she said, sorry and brought my husband a bowl of rice. Well you can't just take the pasta out as it's already mixed in (geez). Then it was another 10-15 minutes before the 2 sets of Dive Chowder came out! My father finished his salad, my husband was half way done with his Pan Roast. These folks need to get the timing of their meals right. Bring out the meals at the same time. Then comes the check. My bad for not looking at it closely before paying and leaving. I got home and looked at the receipt and they charged me regular price for the raw oysters! We had asked (twice) if we could do the happy hour oysters since there was about 3-4 minutes before 6pm and they said yes. Even the receipt says 5:58pm, so they put the order in before 6pm. So dishonest. I'm all about trying new places, but this experience put a bad taste in my mouth.

Wow! I was so happy to find out there was a restaurant with $2 oysters during happy hour. The best part was that the oysters were huge and tasted really fresh.

the service was great as well, our server was really quick with getting our order but friendly while at it :)

The soft shell crab, brussel sprouts, and mussels were soooo good too. Will definitely be back!!

The seafood is incredible. They also have some Sysco junk (including Sysco-labeled condiments at the table!) so don't order that. But, the seafood is absolutely wonderful. Oysters and clam chowder were perfect, and the shrimp louie salad too.

Service was _very_ slow; I think there was only one server for the entire restaurant. (Might have been because we were there on Labor Day, not sure.) Atmosphere felt a bit like a bar except quieter.

Come here for the food, it's amazing. Prepare to be disappointed for other things, but it's worth it.

Wasn’t even able to eat. Came in for a table of 4, hostess said she was going to clean tables. Waited for about 15 minutes after she cleaned some tables and a party of 2 that came after us was going to get a table before us. She didn’t say anything to us in those 15 minutes so we left. Bad experience.

Had an amazing lunch/dinner there. I had seen post on Instagram about this place and it did not disappoint. Food tasted great, everything we had was so good. We will be back. I recommend the bread pudding for dessert.

I went to this restaurant, ordering ahead because we had a small child trying to get in and out quick at an off time where the place empty. The hostess said we could not eat on the patio with the food we ordered because other customers might want to eat there, on the very empty patio with many tables, and none taken. I think the could be more accommodating to families when the place is empty. This rubs me the wrong way making me wonder how they are treating the pickup drivers...

Great happy hour deal! Food was great and prices and portions were reasonable. Hot Cheeto Mac and cheese was very truffle-y, hh oysters were fresh, chowder had plenty of clam and we got another order after, cajun fish and chips were great, pan roast paired well with grilled cheese, grits had a great cheese melt and was heavy on the bacon flavor, mussels/clams were light. Would come back for the chowder, fish and chips, and oysters -- pan roast and Mac and cheese if there's space. Service was great, vibes were casual and relaxed.

Food is decent here. I didn't try the jambalaya, but that looks good.

The restaurant is not too big. A little wait, but definitely worth it.

I ate 3 “Fat Bastard” oysters on 7/13/25 and got horribly food poisoned after 4 hours
Avoid this place at all costs — absolutely unsafe and unacceptable!

UPD: I absolutely love oysters and eat them regularly — I’ve never had any issues before.
Today, I had to go to the emergency room to avoid dying from dehydration after eating your oysters.
There is no other possible cause for this severe food poisoning.
You must at the very least remove this batch of oysters immediately.
