The Funny Farm Restaurant

Ordered the classic patty melt. It was pedestrian and had too much salt. Poutine was really good. However, what I didn't like was that you ordered at the counter and paid beforehand. The POS has automatic tip added (set at 18%) even before your food is made. There is no incentive here for good service. I think next time I'll zero out the automatic tip and leave cash tip after service.

This is a cool place to eat and meet up with friends. The Nashville hot chicken nuggets were perfectly cooked & had just the right amount of heat. Lots of seasoning so it’s messy. The mocha was rich, strong and delicious. The tater tots were crispy on the outside & soft on the inside. Large portion. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that my experience was top-notch. However the wait to get your food is long. They are understaffed. There’s also stuffed animals in jars … maybe Sid from Toy Story grew up and now owns this place.Parking 3/5Quality 3/5Customer Service 2/5Return value 4/5

This place never fails. The food is always amazing the service staff is incredibly friendly ! Shout-out to Jazmine for the amazing smoothies every time ! 10/10 would recommend ! (Just a note this is the location that does NOT serve alcohol. That would be the other location.) But that doesn't take away from the food or experience at all.

The atmosphere, food, and staff are amazing!!! Jasmine and Sharaz(sp?) were super helpful and friendly. Service was quick and all the food was DELICIOUS! The decor is quirky, colorful, and fun. This is a must try!!

We had the best time at the Funny Farm Restaurant -- amazingly good food and completely good fun. It was the best start to a very rainy day.

First impression: welcomed openly. Clean. No really, the place is spotless. Smells amazing.I ordered the Frenchy and my wife got the fried BLT. Both were wonderful. Fresh ingredients. Great sauces. We shared the loaded tots and just wow. I highly suggest the Chipotle aoli.Jasmine was warm and welcoming. She also had some great suggestions. When I am in San Jose again I WILL be eating here again!!!

I was very satisfied with my order. The food was delicious and the service was great. The establishment is clean, has a very nice atmosphere and awesome vibes from the employees.

We walked in and were immediately greeted and helped by such friendly staff! The ambiance is fun and vibrant, bringing us instant delight and good vibes. The menu has creatively-named options that are impressively delicious and photogenic. Even the bathroom is cute. 100% give this place a visit if you haven’t yet.

This place is a gem. Love the decor and squeaky loud chicken on the wall, fuzzy pillars and eyes everywhere haha. The staff all have a sense of humor or providing valuable information. The food here is fusion of all sorts of walk of life and heavy. If that’s your style, make a visit! Poutine is not readily available in the Bay and was able to enjoy it here and wanting more as I took my first bite. Definitely coming back for their different variations of their poutines. The burger is hefty. Hefty hefty. Go with a group and you’ll be able to taste more items on this well typed menu.

Food was flavorful and delicious. Generous size sandwiches and poutine. I got the Fire Bird melt which was flavorful and amazing. The Monte Cristo burrito looked amazing too. The poutine had a good amount of cheese curds and a flavorful gravy. I just wish the sandwiches came with a side when you're paying $13 for each. Great food none the less

Have been wanting to come here for some time and I’m so bummed I didn’t come earlier! I ordered the Truffle burger and it was out of this world great!! Brioche bun, perfectly cooked meat, sweet horseradish house sauce, truffle mushrooms, bacon and a slice of pickle! Delicious! Wanted to order fries but restrained myself….next time because there will be a next time with others so we can share several menu items! Super friendly, helpful staff. Fun atmosphere!

My husband said this was one of the best burgers he's had. I had the Notorious P.I.G. it was delicious!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Hat's off to the chef!

Great and speedy service but their food is on the saltier side. Even the "plain" patty we ordered for our dog had a bit of salt and other seasoning in it. The Farm Burger tasted quite dry and plain without the cheese and/or bacon. The Get Shorty was full of flavor which got a bit overwhelming towards the end. There is way too much of the nacho cheese on top of the Pig in the Hole and that turned the dish into a salt puddle. Maybe ask it on the side if we go back next time.

Very nice staff and dog friendly outdoor seating! They even have puppy patties on the menu (which is just a beef hamburger patty). They offered two bowls of water for our dogs as well since it was so hot outside. The doggos loved the beef as expected. I got the UFO burger and my friend got the truffle burger. Both were pretty good though mine was difficult to eat since it was so tall. We also ordered the mushroom poutine. I liked the mushrooms but I'm not a big cheese person so I didn't eat a lot of it. My friend likes cheese and enjoyed it. For drinks we ordered the mango smoothies which I liked.

Recently visited San Jose. I’ve been looking forward to eating at this restaurant. After seeing them on Man Vs Food I had to stop! Honestly this place is off the hook! I ordered the UFO burger and it was AMAZING! Their staff was friendly and competent. Towards the end Chef Ron/ Owner came by my table and asked if everything was good. I said the burger combination was incredible! We spoke for a few and he wished me a safe trip! Guys I normally don’t bother giving reviews. But Funny Farm is definitely the spot!
