I prepaid for a ham that they then told us that they didn’t have. I paid for a product and they “ran out” I was under the impression that you pay for something you get it. Or it’s a scam.

My wife ordered a ready-made Thankgiving turkey meal a few weeks ago and we were scheduled to pick it up on November 29. We went to pick it up and they said they were out of turkeys. How can they run out of turkeys? This is like when an airline oversells tickets. Keep in mind that we ordered weeks ahead of time and it was confirmed with Honey Baked Ham.
They said they could give us a glazed ham instead, but there would be an upcharge because of the difference in price. Hell no. We tried to speak to a manager but they said there was nothing they could do about it. Eventually they let us have the ham for no extra charge, as well as an extra side for the inconvenience. It turns out that they were out of all sides as well. At that point, we got a full refund and left.
At this point, we had to scramble to put together some kind of make-shift Thanksgiving meal, and ended up going to Safeway and had to get a cold pre-made turkey from their fridge section and a bunch of pre-made sides (instead of a real Thanksgiving meal).
Luckily the meal was just for my wife and myself and not for a large amount of people, which would have been very embarrassing. It feels like our "Thanksgiving dinner" for this year was the equivalent of a McDonald's drive-thru order.

Poor service. Would not sell me a ham under 9 lbs at $100 unless I reserved in advance. Online won’t allow same day reservation of any food items. Then they refused to sell me any side items unless reserved in advance. I’m standing at the counter ready to buy things they have in the refrigerator and they won’t sell it to me. Won’t be back. Seems an obvious reason why Honey Baked Ham locations are going out of business.

This company had EXTREMELY bad planning. I went to pick up some stuff that I had ordered and couldn’t find any parking. People were waiting at least 2 hours in a long line just to reach the front and find out what they wanted was out of stock. There were elderly (saw one lady with a cane) and parents with kids standing in this huge line until the end! They could’ve put up signs or made an announcement to the line of people to say what was out of stock! Never buying from this company again.

Placed my order online but when I picked up my order was told its not available anymore and was offered another kind of ham, staff are overly rude
We ordered our Thanksgiving Dinner at the 750-A Winchester Blvd, San Jose, CA Honey Baked Ham. We paid $176.00 for their 8lb honey baked Ham & Turkey Feast. We even reserved a time slot to pick up our "Prepaid" order.
What an unorganized disaster when we arrived. There were two lines, and the pre-order line was the longest. We waited for about 1 hour. We got no phone call, warning, or notification of this long delay. While in line, I called the store phone number, but it kept ringing. It appeared someone kept picking up the phone and putting it on hold.
Never again, poor customer service.

Some of the very WORST customer service over the holiday!!!! The parking is way too small and the pickup is utter chaos. They ignore all customers whether you reserve a ham or not and only honor pre paid pickups . Get ready to wait for a VERY LONG TIME if you don’t prepay. They don’t even acknowledge any others customers ! Highly recommend you do not patronize this business during the holidays ! They are terrible people who do not deserve or care about their customers. I waited 30 minutes as the 6th customer while dozens of prepaid hopped the line even as they walked in the door in front of me. One ham and done with this business forever! No need to reserve a ham because they will NOT service your purchase.
Best ham for the holidays
Best honey baked hands in the bay area .don't let the long line around the corner discourage you the food is worth the wait

And then he tells me..."The Honey Baked Ham Restaurant is the best place in San Jose to get a sandwich"
Well, the lady behind me spits out a mouthful of Dr. Pepper all over the dude...unintentionally of coarse, and then starts in on him about who makes the best sandwiches. They argued for about 10 minutes and when an angry mob started to form, I took a Lickity Split right outa there fast! I found that Honey Baked Ham Restaurant right there on Winchester Blvd and went in for a ham sandwich. Now...I don't know if it's the best in San Jose, but I'll tell you what, it was pretty damn good! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆
First time coming to HoneyBaked Ham store the gentleman there was very rude didn't like his attitude so early in the morning first time Shopper there and he was very rude
Would give the food more stars if I could even order don't go in this place for lunch expecting the workers to actually be up front.. it's sad to hear a group of adults in the back laughing an talking while you have someone waiting just to order stood there a good 10 mins nothing, I even had to be like hello! But I feel most bad for the buisness that pays the ppl mooching off anything they can.
