This may seem finicky, but if 4 people want to share an order of chicken wings ( order comes with 6 for 12.99) should they be able to each have an equal amount? I wanted to pay additional for everyone to have 2 wings extra. Don't care what it costs, but it should be an option to pay for 2 extra wings. We didn't necessarily want a whole separate order. And although we requested to start with wings, they arrived after out entrées. I just think service staff needs a little help and education in the business of waiting table. Could easily correct these things and improve the overall experience and encourage a second visit

My partner and I have been coming to this location for several years now, I usually did pickup and tonight we sat inside instead. Unfortunately we had a pretty bad experience this time. We got the combo with shrimp, clams, and mussels. The shrimp had a whole different texture than usual and felt like it was lower quality, the clams tasted old and we weren’t able to eat them. The best thing was the mussels as they tasted like normal. When we requested a partial discount since we were unable to eat the majority of the clams we were told they couldn’t discount due to us ordering a combo meal and they also said if we didn’t let them know immediately they also couldn’t do anything. We did not complain further or request a manager, but very disappointed in the customer service especially since they only came around to check on us one time and at that point we hadn’t gotten to the unpleasant clams. They were mostly removed from the shells and sat at the bottom of the sauce. I know this isn’t fully the business’ fault but they sat a loud group behind us when there were multiple tables open and the restaurant had the music blaring for a while right above us. All around I was not pleased with the experience and the resolution to the issues we brought up.

This is a fast paced restaurant with piping hot seafood in great flavors. Service is friendly but we had to ask to order out food as well as order twice for our beverages. They were short on inventory and raspberry iced teas was out, so was snow crab, so was dessert. Would be great if they had a salad and more veggie sides. The food was very good and a great seafood boil experience but be prepared to pay extra for other non seafood items in your boil like potatoes, corn, sausage. Shrimp platter with rice was delicious and tasted like Oahu's North Shore shrimp trucks.
Kickin’ Crab has always been one of my favorite places for a seafood boil, but this Valentine’s Day experience was a complete disaster. I’d strongly recommend avoiding this place on holidays because they prioritize seating new guests over serving those already waiting. We waited nearly two hours for our food, with barely any updates—just a vague “the kitchen is working on it”. Even getting the bill was a struggle.
What made it even worse was that when the food finally arrived, the quality was terrible. The sauce was extremely runny, making everything taste bland. After all that waiting, it felt like a huge waste of time. Extremely disappointed.

Clams were spoiled.
This place used to be go-to spot but for some reason quality and service has gone down.
We asked crew member for a new bag and the gentleman helped us out. But they didn't offer anything else other than just giving us a new bag. Menus like clams going bad at a seafood specialty place is like asking to be shut down. It seemed like the crew members did not realize the seriousness of this issue. We paid the full amount of the bag that came out to be about $100. What a terrible management.

I live right across the street. I've actually loved kicking crab for years and for the past 2 years they've continued to let me down. Their seafood is no longer fresh, their wait times and management system are both dependant on each other and sucks terribly. The seasoning is amazing but can't hide the stench of dead-and-waiting crawfish and crabs EVEN when it's in season. For example, SJ Crawfish and EatEat have great fish, lighter and not as great seasoning but honestly I'd rather go to those places. I had to call 3 times in a row before they picked up. When I was in line, waiting to pay for my order, I watched the register both ignore and answer the phone whenever she saw fit. Customers in line weren't getting their food even if they placed an order first, customers on the phone just had to get lucky. They need another staff member to ring/answer phones. And to clear their answering machine or get on a doordash platform!!

The service in general is a mess since we did not see a European guy who worked as a manager again
