This was my go to place for che in the vietnam town area. After the new owner change something tastes off. The drink is a bit too syrupy sweet even though we asked for half sugar. The place looks more simple and less cluttered now, but thr flavor of the drinks matter more to me. Will give it another try next time to see if it was just a one-off.

High quality service with yummy milk tea and shrimp rolls

Pros:
The staff are friendly and pleasant.
There’s a nice display of colorful pastries and plenty of savory options to choose from.

Cons:
It would be great if the shop could adjust the taste of the iced milk coffee a bit. I’ve tried many iced milk coffees from different places, but this one was hard to drink and I couldn’t finish it.
The milk tea was quite mild and didn’t have much tea fragrance.
The air conditioning was also not very cool.

=> This is mainly a drink shop, so it might be worth reviewing the recipes to better match the tastes of your target customers.

Bad quality, toppings were hard. It was way better before they changed ownership :(

Been coming here for years and the recent changes have been terrible. The green jellies are super hard, almost uncooked. The drinks have a lot fewer toppings and overall quality. The new owner is also rude and was not willing to adjust my drink when I made complaints. Will probably never come here again. It’s a shame because this used to be my go to place for che.

Just changed owner, menu changed Che dessert recipes no longer good, all the chewy toppings are now very hard. Would not recommend or go here again

The Sweet Corner specializes in Vietnamese-style desserts and drinks, offering che concoctions, crème brûlée, and macaroons. The red velvet latte and pandan drinks are popular choices. Located in Vietnam Town, the shop has a cozy atmosphere, though some customers mention that service can be slow at times.

Beyond drinks, The Sweet Corner offers a selection of pastries and sweets, including cream puffs and fruit-based desserts. While the presentation is appealing, some visitors mention that certain items can be inconsistent in texture, with some pastries being too dense or overly sweet

Chè does not taste the same as before and definitely more expensive.

So disappointing.. they have new owners and totally changed the menu.

Sweet Corner isn’t what it used to be anymore.

Extremely disappointed they got rid of most flavors of their flavored tea. We loved coming here for Peach Green Tea and White Peach Green Tea. It was always so good, refreshing, and no other boba spot would make it the same way.

I don’t get how they still chose to keep the business name but totally change their menu. Sweet Corner has been our go-to for probably a decade and to see this today, I’m so disappointed. I can’t say this enough. Now this place is like every other boba spot and has zero roots to the original Sweet Corner.

Save yourself the heartbreak. ✌🏽

Calamari- 10/10
Mango drink (Shine like a star) - 10/10
Tiramisu Cake - a big 7/10 (meeeh, flavour is amazing although I would like more cake and less cream. Chocolate cup is okay I think it’s just there for decorating purposes.)

Just recently changed the owner, decorations and menu.

I came in on April 19 2025 when they had soft opening.

The place is inviting with beautiful decorations.

Snacks are of variety

Staff is friendly. They have different kinds of snack and drinks.

I believe this place is now run under a new management. The menu has changed but the name and layout remain the same. As a non Vietnamese speaking person, I found it hard to order the drinks due to the language barrier. I suggest to add numbers next to the food name to reduce confusion and expedite the ordering process.

I order Che Bo which has avocado pudding and the actual avocado chucks. I wish the avocado pieces are smaller. The avocado chunks make it harder to eat and don’t blend well together with the rest of the ingredients.

Pros: lots of selections
Cons: cheap, low quality ingredients used. Items are not freshly made and the drinks are overly sweet. Coffee drinks are made with/ flavored with coffee mate 😐
