Yummy lunch. Stopped by to have their famous grill fish. It was quite busy when we arrived. We got the table right away. The interior is standard. We ordered spicy and sour seafood rice noodle soup, grill fish, and chow fun with stir fry seafood and veggie. All are yummy, and the portion is generous. The vietnsmese coffee is also good. It is not too sweet. The highlight dish is the grill fish. It is for 2 people but it can feed more. Service is quick. It is good for the group. It is cash only. It has an atm machine inside.

If you happen to be in the area and craving some Chinese comfort food, this place is a good option. The restaurant is quite spacious, bright, and clean. The staff is friendly, and it seems to be a family-owned business. The food looks and smells delicious (especially if you can see all the dishes being served around you). The portions are generous, so the prices are reasonable and justified.Be aware: this places is cash only

CHECK YOUR CHANGE BEFORE LEAVING. Our bill was $62.50. Apparently we overpaid with an extra $50 bill (it was likely stuck to the other one we handed over) and didn't realize until 15mins after we left the restaurant. We went back as fast as we can to tell them we overpaid with a $50 bill (i.e. the gal at the register didn't count our payment). The man advising the gal at the register supposedly advised (to her in Vietnamese, then she "translated" to us in English) there was nothing else they could do... that "the boss" came in while we were gone and took the money from the till and is gone [and will never come back to help us]. The man then told us in English that they're not trying to just take our money. He said a lotttttt to the gal in Vietnamese that she wasn't conveying to us, that's all I'll say.Got a $20 bill back after much emotional back and forth. Then after walking out and coming back in, begging for them to call their "boss," the man from before gave $10 of "his own money". Poor customer service, poor accountability.

**CHECK YOUR CHANGE BEFORE LEAVING**The food is good, but they stole our money. Our bill was $62.50. We accidentally overpaid with an extra $50 bill and didn't realize it til about 15 min after leaving the restaurant. We called ahead before returning and said we were about 5 min away. The lady said to just come in.I got inside, and the man was advising, in Vietnamese, the woman at the register, who then "translated" to us that their "boss" came in while we were gone and took the money.I tried reasoning with them to call the boss just to see if any brand new crisp $50 bills were stuck to each other.I asked how many ppl even pay using $50 bills and that it would be easy to check for them. They told us some junk about how the boss collects the money every hour and how if we didn't leave the parking lot, they would be more inclined to give our money back??We negotiated and received $20. Then went back inside to ask if they could please just call the boss to check. They didn't want to do that. The man, who says he "just works [t]here" gave us an additional $10 of his "own money" instead of giving back all the money we accidentally overpaid.Count your money very carefully, because they'll keep it all if given the chance.Oh, and do this all BEFORE leaving the parking lot.

It's been a good while since I've eaten here! My favorite dish is their grill fish where you get to wrap it yourself with +$3 for rice paper! It's such a a flavorful dish, if you eat it by itself, it will be salty so definitely eat it with the vermicelli and veggies to balance it out! The fried egg rice cake was also surprisingly good as well, I do think it was a bit pricy for that dish but the price and the amount for the grilled fish was so worth it in my opinion! Parking can be a struggle on weekends, but you can also just park across where Target is at, a bit of a walk to help you digest the food afterwards! Service was quick, don't expect much because it's the type where you come eat, they do their job and that's it type of service haha Would definitely come back again for more!

Heads up it is cash only establishment but they also take Zelle. I thought it was worth it! We ordered the A1 fresh spring rolls with shrimp and it was refreshing and delicious! It was paired with a peanut sauce with added an extra kick of flavor. I ordered the #40 crispy chow fun w/ stir fried beef and vegetables and it was filling and savory! I also added some chili oil on top which made it taste even better. When you are done you pay at the counter and can pick up to go containers there as well. The space was neat and clean and the service was quick. They had a TV playing a football game that we were following so it was nice to have something to watch. It's a busy plaza but there's a lot of parking. I'd go back again :)

Thien Long is a super solid Vietnamese place! The ambience is on par with a lot of the Vietnamese places in the area. It's casual and quick, as well as great for groups. I absolutely love the turmeric fish and making your own spring rolls! It's such a unique and delicious meal that's both tasty and entertaining. I haven't tried a lot of other menu items, but I'd love to do so in the future soon. The staff are always friendly and very quick.

I've been here a few times with friends and coworkers. My wife had never been here but wanted to try out their specialties. 36B. Bún Chả Cá Lã Vọng: Grilled fish with thin noodles and vegetables (serves two persons). There was an additional charge for rice paper - which we did. This is a fun dish to make your own spring roll with noodles, asian herbs, vegetables (cucumbers, green leaf lettuce), and tumeric fish. It's a white fish, not sure if it's swai, rockcod, or tilapia. But lightly fried with a tumeric batter which is served on a sizzling serving tray with onions, fresh dill sprigs, and roasted peanuts. It is a nice touch, as it keeps your (already cooked) fish pieces hot/warm. But make sure to monitor it. Otherwise, it will burn everything. Ask your server to put out the flame when you are satisfied. The dish also comes with two dipping sauces - shrimp paste (mam tom) and mixed fish sauce (nuoc cham). 40. Phở Áp Chảo Bò Dòn: Crispy chow fun with stir-fried beef and vegetables. The first time I tried this, I didn't think it was flavorful at all. Tonight, I thought it had a good Asian traditional brown gravy sauce. The beef was tender, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. The place was crowded and busy. The service was nice and friendly!

INCREDIBLE VIETNAMESE FOOD!!! Their signature dish (bun cha ca la vong) is an absolute must try -- it was perfectly tender, crispy, and deliciously seasoned! Everything else we tried (see image) was also amazing; I think you could order anything from here and it would be great. The portions are also MASSIVE, which is a huge plus considering how yummy everything is. I strongly recommend this place for anyone who loves Vietnamese food! But do be aware they only accept cash (but there's an ATM in the restaurant if needed!)

What a fun meal! There aren't a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in the bay area that does turmeric fish (cha ca la vong) $33 like Thien Long. It smells great if you let it sit for a bit and let the little fire under the metal plate sizzle the dill and onions table side. You can wrap your own spring rolls (+$3 for rice paper) like Anh Hong in San Francisco. It does come with big pieces of leaf lettuce so the rice paper is not necessary. I liked how it comes with a piece of rice cracker you can put inside the spring roll. The yellow spice turmeric is great for burning fat tissues. But since the fish is fried, it negates the health benefits of this meal. On a side note, we had their seafood crispy egg noodles $16.50 as an appetizer. This was good. I wouldn't come here especially for their crispy noodles. Service was excellent.

Got the turmeric fish and grilled beef combo. This is very filling and had a lot of flavor. Typically this is served for 2 people. There are so many options here! These 2 person combos seem to be very popular. It comes with a side of herbs and noodles.Definitely need to try this again!
