Diego was our server and he was attentive and just plain fabulous. He greeted us the moment we sat down. He asked if we wanted to hear the specials and never let our drinks get empty. I have nothing but praise for his efforts. The building and the surrounding area were neat and well maintained. The restroom was neat and very well maintained. I ordered a calzone and I enjoyed it. The marina sauce tasted fresh and flavorful. My date had the eggplant parmesan lasagna. The eggplant was VERY chewy which simply means it was UNDER cooked, or not ripe.. This is the reason for the four star review and not a five star. We will gladly return to see if they can make it a five star review.

Two stars because the cashier was nice. Price increases are outrageous. 30 dollars for fettuccine and chicken. Basic white sauce, pasta, and chicken. Flavor okay but pasta overcooked and small portion. Not worth the price! My family and I used to go here often so we were shocked at how expensive it has become. We will not be going back.

I really wanted to love this place as it is so close to our house and the menu looked good. Unfortunately we were pretty disappointed. First of all, my water glass was dirty and had lipstick on the rim. Automatically makes you feel icky, and the server’s reaction when replacing it was not what I would expect. The bread was one of the most dry bread I’ve ever had in my life, like it had been sitting out on the counter all day. And, we found a hair in it.
For the entrees, we ordered the lasagna and the shrimp and scallop risotto. The one extra star is for the shrimp and scallop risotto, which despite being very overpriced for the tiny serving, was delicious. Unfortunately the lasagna was not good. The main issue was the uneven temperature. It was served in one of those baking dishes, which I expect it to be fresh from the oven and hot enough to burn my mouth if it doesn’t cool off first. But the outside was just warm and the inside was cold.
Overall very sad about our experience and will not be coming back.

Months ago when visited this restaurant, food was outstanding, service was good and the cost was worth it! After eating at this restaurant 9/10/24, the pear salad was horrible ( no salad dressing, large pieces of pear were like rocks inedible! The food was very disappointing, fish was very dry, mashed potatoes were cold and under heated! This restaurant was so not worth the cost! So disappointed to see how this restaurant changed so much for the worse! Unfortunately, we were celebrating a bday and no one ate their food! This review is no exaggeration!

If you are anything less than the shade of white, prepare to be ignored for an uncomfortably long time, even when the restaurant is half empty.
10 minutes to be seated, 10 more minutes without a menu, and another 10 minutes to get a server to order.
Meanwhile, other patrons who arrived later—who happened to be white—were already seated, served, and started eating. This discriminatory behavior ruins what could otherwise be a pleasant dining experience.

Lunch on Sunday, 4 tables of customers, 7 or 8 empty tables. But we still had to wait for 10 MINUTES TO BE SEATED
Waitress in charge of our table seemed busy serving everyone else but us. Took another 10 minutes for them to ask us for drink orders when I told them we DIDN’T EVEN HAVE OUR MENUS
Waitress proceeded to serve other tables when we waited for ANOTHER 10 MINUTES TO GET ORDERS IN
After getting the order in it took another 7 MINUTES for bread to arrive, over baked and lukewarm.

Made a reservation by email which didn’t make it to the greeter’s desk; way too many tables crammed into too little space makes the ambient noise level atrocious, which is possibly why the waiter got both of our orders wrong, which could have been a non-issue if he had read back the order. Entrees (wrong as they were) were set down 60 minutes after ordering. Wine after that. Ugh. I’ll stay in next time.

There are many good dinner choices at Tomato Thyme, but eggplant Parmesan lasagna is not one of them. Do not order this entree or you will be severely disappointed. It’s not edible.
