Ever since I moved from San Jose to Morgan Hill I've been craving Tortas Ahogadas. I searched to see what my options were, and I try this place. I arrive and there is parking and easy to find off Main Street. I was skeptical, the place isn't big or well known. Small place with some tables inside and more outside in the patio area. We order the Tortas. And the flavors and the tasted was super delicious, I was so happy and we decided to or after that tacos de canasta. Everything is delish, good flavors, nice seasoning, and great costumer service. Don't let a bigger place and well known fool ya, this place is authentic. Super exited to go back and let all my friend know.

We visited this place on Sunday 28th from San Francisco... 1° The tables are dirty , looks like no one clean them.... 2° The cook guy wasn't wearing a mask.. unacceptable Food was ok , I was expecting better food for the price but it was OK.... You guys need to hire more people to give a better service... Don't forget your mask I know you can do better...

Tortas Ahogadas Jalisco, saw them on the new last night on 48. Thought, ooh those look good so I thought we would come in and try them. Came in ordered a torta ahogada for my husband and the tacos dorados for me. The torta ahogada was ok, it really did make an impact with me. I guess I prefer my bread crunchy vs soggy loaded with chili sauce. There are traditional for th state of Jalisco, Mexico. However we never dad them growing up. I feel that the wet tortas are an acquired taste. I couldn't get past the bread being wet. Ill pass. I ordered the tacos dorados which were good and crunchy. They came loaded with shredded cabbage, grated cheese, purple onions and Tomatoes. Added a tough of salt and they were good. Added some red sauce they had available on the table and it was HOT. It really added that kick to my meal and made it flavorful. Loved the crunch from the tacos and the cabbage. Will return for the tacos dorados in the near future.

Just got a $13 carnitas torta that had NO carnitas. The price was already pretty high but then to have no meat, this doesn't work. Very disappointing as I want to support local business.

We came here looking for menudo and this place did not disappoint!! Their menudo is so delicious and they have fresh home made corn tortillas. We also ordered the birria plate which was yummy. For drinks we had the Jamaica and Melon aguas frescas which were nothing special - skip that. Come early because their menudo sells out!
