Been going there for years even before it was Lagos. The last owner retired and left it to her son and aft of going their for 15 years they have a new owner but the food didn't change neither did the service since they kept their employees. I have gone to wat here and a little after Covid they served us outside, but it was nice. Carne asada tacos are my son's favorite to have here and I have had a few different items each time we came and everything was great tasting and fresh. Salsas are so good mild and hot. Most of all it was comfortable to eat and conversate. I don't go anywhere else when I have been in town.

My whole entire plate was microwave not even fresh I ordered rice and beans and chile rellenos. Plus all the food was very salty. Honda customer service was sad. Their customer service really sucks. I do not recommend anybody to go eat there at all. My food inside the chili rellenos was very cold due to the microwaving of my plate .

This was my first visit to this Trine's location and I was a little disappointed.I have been to other Trine's in San Jose and have had enjoyable meals.It was breakfast time and I ordered chorizo and eggs.A very common meal for a Mexican breakfast.The price was $13.50 which I felt was high for the portion.Now for the food...the chorizo/eggs was good.Properly cooked and seasoned.The rice and beans were just okay.My problem with these they were both under seasoned and lacked the flavor I'm used to.However the red chile arbol salsa was outstanding which I ended upadding to the rice/beans.The restaurant is clean and has a good atmosphere.The wait staff were friendly except the time it took to get our check seemed longer than expected.I will definitely try this restaurant again for a comparison.Please feel free to let me know your opinion. rg-

Caldo de Rez the MEAT in this soup was cheap Quality of meat not GREAT and the cook did not cook this meat till SOFT and TENDER, it was HARD and TUFF!! Like RUBBER!!! Informd them on that i DID, you pay 15.00 plus taxes it HAVE IT'S NASTY!!!! meat!!! ??????????BIG DISAPPOINT!!! NO GOOD! NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! Your paying it's NOT free ? This restaurant better GET thier COOK toghter Doing BETTER or YOU GUYS WILL LOSE ALOT OF CUSTOMERS. ????
