Went for the miniature golf but decided to eat before we played. I was impressed by their local beer selection on draft! Good cocktail selection as well. I was very shocked at how good the food was for a place know for indoor golf. Definitely in the gastropub category but worth a shot if you are hungry. The pretzel bites were really good and the pizza was EXCELLENT. The 14" pizza is enough for 3 people IMO so good for a group.

Fantastic birthday option for a teenager Easy to putt and eat for dinner Ordered pizzas so it was easy Wish they had pitchers of soda etc for big groups Innovative way to putt A few arcade options upstairs that were fun at the end

Celebrated my birthday here with family (14 of us total), it was a fantastic experience from the start until the end! From the service in the bar area, where we ate as well, to the Putt experience! We had such a great time. For the golf portion, I would recommend smaller groups per hole. We had 7 and 7, it was quite tight! We made it work but maybe 3 groups would have been more spacious...nonetheless, we had an amazing time! Great spot in downtown SJ, would recommend for birthdays, date nights, Corpore events (they have an upstairs area you can rent). 10/10!

We've celebrated at the San Francisco Urban Putt before and this was our first time in San Jose. Have to say it was absoultely fantastic. Celebrated my wife's birthday with a group of 9 folks. The staff really made everything so easy and wonderful for us. We had a great time putting 9 holes and then had dinner. Pizza, loaded tater tots, smashburger, crispy chicken, gem salads... we're all very tasty. Will do this again!

First time here, didn't play the mini golf, but hung out in the bar area. Good drinks and food.

My friends & I were very excited to check out the Urban Putt! To celebrate our sweet friend. We had to place a cc to reserve our reservation which I was totally fine with. Food was ok, I felt like the drinks & apps were better than the food. my friend & I ordered the chicken Cesar salad & the chicken burger in a lettuce wrap & some garlic fries. Out of the 3 my fave was the garlic fries, salad & chicken Sammy was a bit dry. Drinks were good with a bit of a kick. Our server was very sweet but was everywhere as she was helping 2 large parties including ours. The manager of the day named Monica was EXTREMELY RUDE to her staff. I was walking up to ask a question and she was scolding a young man/staff of theirs and she stormed off. That young man was super polite and professional with our party. I also tried asking the lady bartender of the day in the afternoon shift a simple question such as if we can use multiple cards to split our lunches bill and she rudely redirected me to our waitress and was like you need to ask your server I don't know anything with the tables. 😑 the actual atmosphere was so much fun! Other side note was the charge you a fee to bring your own cake! Just a heads up.

This place is amazing in every single way! Great atmosphere, great food, great service. We went there to my daughter 16th birthday and the staff helped me to make it the best birthday ever, they even took the cake and took care of everything else. They have the best fried calamari ever and the sauce that comes with it is amazing! We will come back for sure. Thank you Steve Fox/ owner.

Fun place. Cocktails were very good! The food was good for pub dining. The golf course is super small, but very fun. I would recommend some video games or some other activities beside golf.

Everything was awesome. Food, service, atmosphere, drinks. Jasper was a cool guy. Golf was so fun.

Our food was very good. The ribeye beef in my cheesesteak sandwich was tender. My boyfriend said his fish & chips were the best he's ever had. One suggestion: please add a side of coleslaw to the cheesesteak meal.

Urban Putt has a fantastic vibe and is a great spot for mini-golf with friends or family. The golfing experience itself was excellent—creative, well-maintained courses, and a fun atmosphere overall. The bartender was friendly, and the drinks were solid. The food was decent, not amazing but good enough for the setting. However, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff didn't seem particularly attentive or proactive. For example, when I arrived with a group of 7, I was sent to two different locations multiple times just to confirm our reservation. It felt like the staff was standing around waiting to be asked for help rather than taking initiative to assist customers. Overall, the experience was enjoyable because of the great mini-golf and lively atmosphere, but better customer service would elevate the experience.

We decided to try urban pot because it was within walking distance of our we stay in San Jose and the “Gastropub“ Monica appealed to us. The pizza was tasty, I'll be at a bit light on the sauce with good ingredients. One of the party had the single cheeseburger, which I thought was overpriced for a 4 ounce patty, and the beer battered onion rings, which were two dollar upgrade, were good but a small serving. My draft West Coast IPA was $12 without a reduction for happy hour. All in all the food was good but not great, with a somewhat limited Menu and somewhat pricey for what you get. We didn't play mini golf, but did look at the course which was cute and imaginative, and I would guess would make for a good time. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, but would suggest that the restaurant consider expanding its menu, and increasing its portion size or decreasing prices.

Opentable Diner

Amazing thank you! It was a great experience and the bday boy enjoyed it we will be back to finish the other course

Place was advertised as family friendly, pictures appeared as if dining area is separate from the bar, they are not. Dinner is not worth the money. Sodas were flat. One waitress for the whole area. Lesson learned to not go as an evening activity. The golf area is very close quarters and when drunk groups are before and after you, there's nowhere to go. $20 per person for 18 holes. The course is a little tired and need some attention. I had high hopes. We still had a good time but $220 for food and games for 4 was a bit much.

It seriously pains me to give this review since me and my family had a very nice time there yesterday evening. The sole reason behind the 1 star is because me and my girlfriend clearly got food poisoning after eating the Crispy Chicken Sandwich.

In fact, I'm typing this review out in-between periods of intense vomiting at almost 2am.

This is not a hateful or vindictive review. We had a really nice time and it is a unique space, but getting food poisoning even once is enough of a reason to never go back again.
