We tried this place out because of a YouTuber we enjoy. 😉 We both drink black coffee on a regular basis, we are not huge fans of sweetened drinks but we wanted to give this spot a try. We were already in San Jose. San Pedro square is so neat! We didn’t have a wait, our drinks came out fast. And omg were they tasty!! The coffee (The Cloud) was so strong and sweet and even a little salty in the best way. The Feed Me Ube was incredible. So creamy and floral and not too sweet!! We inhaled these drinks, couldn’t get them down fast enough. I adored both of these, no notes. Pure perfection. 👏🏻

Ordered the Creme Brulee Tea with light ice, 50% sugar and torched sugar. This is a cool and unique drink that blends two delicious desserts. There is a nice layer of housemade creme brulee sitting on top of the boba. At this sugar level, it matches well with the creme brulee, the creme brulee stands out more with its creaminess and sweetness. The hard torched sugar is a fun mix inside the drink to crunch on. If you want an even flavor of it all, you probably should shake it a lot more. I gave it a light shake so it was inconsistent on whether I was drinking tea or having some of the creme brulee chunks. The boba is nice and chewy here, very good standard fare. This place is located inside a food hall so there are other vendor stalls inside and out. There is plenty of general seating inside and outside. Parking appears to be a challenge in this area so this is great if you're here on foot or by public transit.

To start, I am always a huge fan for Urban ritual. I constantly went to the San Mateo location. So this review is simply for today’s experience at downtown SJ.
I ordered at the kiosk, 15 minutes passed, I only noticed the staff chatting and laughing, there was no sign of my drink to be ready, so I reached out and checked on the progress. It turned out that they were not aware of their machine is down, even though there were at least 4 people waiting for their drinks by their counter.
I ordered a crème Brûlée milk tea but what I got was just a pure boba milk tea. I was in a hurry so I only realized it when we drove away. It was such a ridiculous experience.

Super refreshing drinks even the mango sticky rice thought itd be too heavy but its not its not like milk boba drinks it was perfectly sweet and refreshing. Also tried the strawberry basil it was also really refreshing! Didnt mess with the seeetness regular isnt overly sweet

Solid boba place with unique drinks. I got some hojicha latte that's not showing up on their online menu so it may be a seasonal item. If it is they should def make it a regular item because it had great flavor.
