The vegan donuts in San Jose are insanely good! The matcha donut is my absolute favorite, and the one with chocolate on the outside and cream inside is rich, decadent, and absolutely irresistible. This is definitely a place you need to visit if you love amazing plant-based treats!
The donuts were legit…taste like regular donuts and I doubt people would even know they were vegan if you didn’t tell them. The only bummer was not chocolate cake donuts! But I did get to have a chocolate cream-filled donut and that’s rare to find vegan. It tasted like my childhood. And I loved that they had chocolate milk to go with them. Super friendly staff too. This is a shared store with the Banhmi shop. Although I came for the banhmi, the donuts are amazing.
If I hadn't purchased this myself, I wouldn't have believed the donuts were vegan. They are indistinguishable from non-vegan ones. I'm convinced we don't have to use eggs or dairy to make donuts after this experience.
