This visit wasn't up to the standard of previous visits. They had no vegetables other than potatoes. The menu was limited. We over heard they are planning a renovation so maybe this is a cause of the limited menu, lack of veggies. We hope this is a one off.

While the weekday menu is short as compared to the weekend menu, the waiter was able to get the chef to make our favorite seafood farfalle with vodka cream sauce which is outstanding.

Heavily overpriced for mediocre quality food. Server was constantly trying to up sell the menu and service was lackluster at best. I'm fine with spending some money on an outing, but this is not the place to do it. I've had comparable service at Buco De Bepos.

We have been to this restaurant twice because it's one of my daughter's favorite Italian restaurants in the area.

The last time we went we ordered:
Burrate Caprese (tomato and mozzarella salad) ?
Fettuccine Bolognese (fettuccine in a meat sauce) ?
Cioppino with added Spaghetti (seafood soup) ?
Farfalle Crostacei (farfalle in cream sauce with shrimp) ?
Seabass all Acquapazza (seabass lightly fried with tomato sauce and broccoli, healthy choice) ?
Salmone Ai Funghi with added Spaghetti ?
Bistecca New York (steak) ?
Tiramisu ?
Crema Bruciata (Italian version of crème brûlée) ?

The Farfalle Crostacei was the hit of the table. My wife said "Always order the cream sauce". ☝️ My healthy choice was healthier but not surprisingly the most boring. I thought the Cioppino was very good. The steak was ordered as Rare but came out Medium Well. Maybe the waitress didn't believe my son when he ordered it because we were surprised as well that he was ordering Rare. ?

By the way, don't order the Wild Boar ?. We got that the first time and pun intended, it was boring. The dish had very little flavor.

Recently, my family and I had the pleasure of dining at Vin Santo to celebrate Mother’s Day. Our party consisted of seven people, including four adults and three children ages 8, 9, and 11. We had made a reservation via OpenTable for six initially but later called to add one more child. The hostess adjusted our reservation time to 1:45 pm to accommodate this change.

Overall, we received great customer service and enjoyed good food during our visit. However, upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed several discrepancies in the billing.

Firstly, we were charged for three bottles of water, whereas we only received two. Additionally, my cousin and his wife opted for bottomless mimosas, while my husband ordered mimosas by the glass (one each). However, the bill reflects charges for four bottomless mimosas instead of the correct count.

Furthermore, the family-style meal was incorrectly charged for six adults and one child, whereas we were only four adults in total.

As a result of these billing errors, the total amount on our bill came up to $556.32, including the gratuity. I contacted Vin Santo to address these discrepancies and obtain a refund for the overcharges. Unfortunately, despite several attempts to reach out, they have not responded to my concerns.

Our food was delicious and served piping hot. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. The crème brûlée for dessert was also excellent although I prefer a warm crème brûlée to a cool one. Portion sizes are small and so ordering an appetizer or primi may be needed for those with bigger appetites. I rated value for the money as average because the portion sizes are small. However, you can't quibble with the quality of the food

Efren was our waiter and our bartender and his cocktails were great and his service was top notch! My Cioppino was great as was my wife's lasagna. We'll be back! Thanks!!

Bread was great, pasta was just ok, primary server good, but the supporting staff was poor, announced the boar as chicken, failed to refill waters, and cappuccino came after dessert was finished and we were ready to pay the bill. Hadn't been there in years, was a bit disappointed.

Restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. Only one bartender and one waitress. Took a while to get our drinks and food. A few people came in to the bar. The appetizer and food was great. When we left at 6:00 there were only about 8 people in the entire restaurant, which we were surprised.,

I can’t even begin to explain the disappointment we experienced today. My wife and I came in for Mother’s Day brunch and the experience was shocking. I requested outdoor seating on open table, but they tried to seat us indoors. When we got to the table there was debris all over the table and plates. It’s a super dingy Covid style patio that got thrown together out of necessity. There’s an AC unit that cools the inside of the restaurant inside the enclosed patio so it’s blowing hot air and noisy. They immediately started bringing out food that was clearly from a chaffing dish; grey eggs and floppy bacon. Thats where our dining experience stopped. We weren’t going to spend $51 per person to eat chaffing dish eggs so we left at that point and thank god we found a place down the street that could squeeze us in on Mother’s Day. I would not trust this place for an occasion. The salt in the wound here is that I left my sunglasses on the table as we were rushing out to find another place on the fly and when I called, the host unapologetically and without missing a beat said they weren’t there. How could she know that without checking with the staff? I asked about lost and found which she replied, “nothing”. So frustrating to lose a nice pair of sunglasses and have to deal with the embarrassment of trying a new place on a special occasion like this.

We ate the Mother’s Day pre-fixed, family-style menu. The first course was fruit salad, eggs and vegetables, and bacon and sausage. The eggs and vegetables were cold and not seasoned, and the fruit was not ripe and plate was about half full. The second course was lunch appetizers. It was shrimp kebabs, which were cold and shrimp was overcooked, and stuffed mushrooms (best thing we ate). The third course was pasta, chicken in a tomato sauce, and pork loin. While the seasoning was fine, the meat was really dry, like it had been sitting all day, I won’t even bother describing the dessert because we left to go get something at Icicles. Really disappointing to pay $50 a person for a meal with so little care and effort to prepare good food. We did talk to the waiter and he was very apologetic and they took 10% off the bill, but just overall the effort just wasn’t there for a holiday meal. Very disappointing Mother’s Day experience.

Don’t come here for Mother’s Day or any event as their kitchen does not know how to cook for enough people and their food is bland and overcooked! I recommend better Italian places in the area than going to this place. Trust me on this one!! Expensive with below average food!
