The wine was lovely and the atmosphere was energetic but the service was surprisingly abhorrent. They completely neglected our table. I had to ask four times for water for our table and was told by the staff in an irritated tone to wait. I even brought my water cups to the front to just get some water and they told me to sit down. They neglected our table for some reason and we had to usually wave someone down just to get another order. We sat there for 2+ hours and we had to search the area for anyone to give us our check. Even after we paid it took the staff a long time to return to us. When we arrived it wasn’t that busy so I didn’t understand why the staff was taking so long. It seemed a bit disorganized. Additionally the staff seemed stressed/irritated. It may have been an off night for them, but unfortunately I will not be returning given my experience.

Not sure if owner look at the review at all. I used to love this place but the staff needs to be re-trained. Sit down for 15 minutes with no one taking order or even serving water.
It will definitely make people not coming back again

Beautiful outdoor patio and ambiance, with live music, perfect for enjoying their wine flights where you can try 3 popular wines and multiple flight options.

Very cosy and nice wine bar. Early mornings or late evenings are so nice.
Went here last weekend for some pre-dinner drinks and left after no one bothered to take our orders. We were seated outside and could see the staff chatting inside while we waited for over 20 mins for someone to attend to us. After a few more people came in, a lady shows up and starts taking orders from the tables around us and goes back inside ignoring us even though she noticed that we hadn’t ordered anything. We didn’t want to waste more time and any money here so just walked out.
Do yourself and your wallet a favor and skip this place.

Didn't get a chance to truly enjoy the actual wine selection, but nice little open air situation

For a while, the staff was not that great but they’ve got a lot of new people that has been coming back. It’s not a place how ago solely to eat but the food that they do offer a simple and it’s very enjoyable. They have a good selection of wine and beer. They don’t have spirits at the bar anymore
One of the owners is insistent on playing loud EDM music all day long even on quiet Saturday and Sunday afternoon. For me this really ruins the atmosphere sometimes. If you’re going with other people and you’re gonna have fairly loud conversations is fine. But if you’re trying to have a normal volume conversation, one on one with someone, or just to enjoy a drink by yourself or God forbid read it’s not really practical. The music is obnoxious. There’s already lots of ambient noise, such as a fountain that is in the seating area, car noise, music from nearby venues, and just other ambient noise. I would spend a lot more time there if it wasn’t for the music.

Get the old vine zin from Lodi! Trust me, so complex and full
They've got several wine flight option, and great wines at that. They also have a modest selection of drinks for guests who don't prefer wine
Cozy spot, but be mindful of the noise!
It’s a small and cozy place with both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was raining, my friend and I chose to sit indoors. Initially, it was perfect — quiet and relaxing. A couple of tables were occupied by two people, and everything seemed peaceful.
Then four guys walked in, and it completely changed the atmosphere. It got incredibly loud to the point where I couldn’t even hear myself talk. I had to raise my voice so my friend could hear me, which definitely ruined the cozy vibe we were hoping for.
Tip: If you choose to sit inside, make sure the space isn’t filled with loud groups.
Other than that, the food was good, the wine was delicious, and the servers were very friendly and polite. Worth a visit, just be mindful of the noise level! 🍷

Large selection of wine options. I would love a zero proof options for those who are sober, but I haven't seen this elsewhere, just a suggestion. They don't have a ton of food options, but the options they have are good.

The manager Gabriela was incredibly rude. I had ordered a glass of rose and upon 2 sips unfortunately really did not enjoy it and asked if I can exchange it for the same one my friend had ordered. Gabriela had came out and let me know that because I already sipped it she could not change my drink for another one. Any other restaurant has always changed my drink without an issue for customer satisfaction but she completely refused. She also said that other customers are not Ignorant and have a brain to think and ask to sample the wine before ordering which I thought was incredibly rude I could not believe her commentary towards me and I was not aware I was able to order a sample as it was not offered to me the way other restaurants have offered to sample the wine before I ordered it. I asked her then why doesn’t your restaurant offer customers? She then proceeded to agree to change my drink and offer a discount but her rude and disrespectful commentary ruined me and my friends night and we did not want to continue our night there. She had the audacity to still try to charge my friend her drink that she also had only taken 1 sip from. In the end we requested to return both drinks at no charge and got up and left. We have never experienced such rudeness at this restaurant the way we have with this rude manager Gabriela.

I went last night & was racially profiled and asked to leave.
This is my first time in San Jose & what a welcoming it was.
The supposed manager, “Desiree”, was very unpleasant from the beginning. My cousin brought me to show me one of her favorite spots in San Jose, she is a regular and requested what she normally gets. Our waitress took the order and the manager eventually came back to tell us they no longer allow drinks to be swapped In flights. Two out of three of us changed our order to comply and after. Desiree agreed to honor my cousins request just once more since this rule is new.
Our waitress brought out 2 flights, we started drinking then noticed it wasn’t what we ordered. our waitress told us it was her mistake & we can have them. We said okay thanks, and waited for our actual order to come out. Desiree then came out and said we are not getting our original order because we already have the wrongly delivered drinks. I told her that’s not fair, this was there mistake & I want the wine I specifically ordered.. she then said fine but she will have to take the wines we already had. She gathered 6 glasses of wine to toss them. (Where i’m from a manager would rather have their guest keep the wine since it was their mistake - and allow them to have that while they wait on their actual ordered). Anyway, or actual waitress came back & we told her we were shocked at the managers rude attitude & hostility towards us. The kind waitress empathized with us & just apologized. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich for the wait. About 2 minutes later the manager comes and tells us we need to leave. I was shocked and thank God my cousin began recording a video or I wouldn’t believe this really happened.
I asked the manager why we are being asked to leave - we’ve been here for almost 20 minutes at this point waiting for our order. She said she needs us to leave because of my cousin. I was confused as my cousin hadn’t interacted with Desiree since Desiree agreed to honor her drink swap request & that conversation ended amicably. So I clarified, what did my cousin do? And after her talking in circles it was communicated that she is kicking us out because my cousin did not like her customer service. I guess as a black person in San Jose, we have no right to expect decent customer service, and definitely no right to the 1st amendment. In 2024 we are not allowed to have a voice or opinion?
After ensuring to clarify that this is the reason we, PAYING customers are being asked to leave. (Again thank God for the video). We kindly left as we were told.
Please excuse any typos as I am still a bit shooken up & typing this with my cell.
I just can’t believe an establishment to this caliber can allow this type of racism take place. Thank you to our kind waitress, Sonia who tried to give us a great experience.
A very idyllic place for a fine wine tasting. The location is right in the middle of the action. The selection of wines is very large. We took two wine combinations and a pesto burrata plate. The wines and the platter were very tasty. Although the plate was small and the bread looked a bit strange, we were very satisfied. What led to a star deduction was the service lady. At the reception you will be served in a very friendly manner by the gentleman. Unfortunately, the lady with the done eyebrows and sprayed lips was very unmotivated. She didn't say a word when she took the order. It's really a shame to employ such a lady. Unfortunately, this brings down the rating significantly.
