Excellent. I eat dinner there every time I travel to San Jose. A hidden gem that needs to be uncovered.
This is my third time eating at Vito's in three months! Such a nice place to go for a relaxing lunch Would have preferred sitting outside, but it was a little warm yesterday Service and food is always great!
Impeccable restaurant service. Warm ambience. Outdoor seating. Seafood Piccata favorite pasta dish among others. Great specials. Excellent martinis. Salute!
I love their crusted halibut specials. The frutte de mare and chicken parm were great too.
We were early but no worries. They opened the bar early for us so we could sit outside with a cocktail and some wine too. Always checcked up on us as well.
This place is awesome, I highly recommend this place. I tried 3 different plates in one sitting, they were all fantastic. 10 out of 10

Great food and service, dessert wonderfil
Awesome and authentic Italian food!
Great food, great service, and atmosphere! Second time dining here and everything was consistent as the last time. There were many regular customers dining, which says a lot about the quality of the food.

I love their Lasagne. My husband's favorite is the Baked Penne Sciliano. Wonderful flavors and large portions. I want to try a pizza or or the Catch of the day. I saw a filet being served that looked enticing. The service is excellent. Outdoor dining is an option. The ambiance makes it feel both cozy and private. This is our favorite Italian restaurant.
Really good food, great atmosphere, prices are a little high, but worth it with what you are getting.
Only negative, they do not have cheese to grate for the pasta dishes.
For the first time in many visits the food was cold (salmon) and the vegetable were cold , however the fettuccini was steaming hot. A very uneven set of temperatures. This is not the Vito's we know.
I always find a rewarded experience at Vito's for a relaxing and quiet time when needed for a business atmosphere.
Food was OK- if they are indeed the readers choice for the best Italian in the area then that tells you how bad Italian food in San Jose must be. We had a 7:00 reservation and we were told at 7:20 that the kitchen was about to close and we needed to get our order placed asap- app, salad, the entre then came out in rapid progression in an obvious effort to rush us along. Check was dropped while I was still eating. This was a Tuesday night.
