I know people get upset about the prices of food when they could have ordered the same dish at a different restaurant but to be fair the establishment themselves usually aren’t as swanky, sometimes you’ll have 30 minute waits and bad parking at other Vietnamese restaurants. Visiting my kids in Los Altos and they decided to revisit Vung Tau (I had never heard of it), a truly wonderful Vietnamese restaurant --- we shared 5-6 dishes; really loved the beef/onion rolls especially. The hostess greeted us warmly and the server, a young woman named Tramy, was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. great meal here. this is a very good restaurant. many Vietnamese people came in to eat. the calamari was over cooked but everything else was great
