Nice crepes

Let me start by saying this place is all a hype. As you come in to the restaurant no one greets you. You come straight to their register to order your food when there is a huge menu mounted in the wall with NO prices at all (so you’re ordering blindly). When you pay they expect a tip right off the bat without knowing their services. When food finally comes out we never got addressed again from offering additional coffee to napkins. After our food was served we never saw a server again. This is why I’m scoring this place so low.

Management, a piece of advise train your staff better at customer service.

After Church, I will often frequent Whispers for brunch. I find the prices reasonable and the food delicious. My go to is the Eggs Benedict with a salad and Pomegranate Mimosa, I order the same items every visit because that is how much I love it.

Just had a fantastic brunch with my son at Whispers Cafe and Creperie in San Jose! The food was delicious and came out super fast, and the service was excellent Highly recommend for a quick and tasty meal!

I found this establishment to be rather overpriced for the offerings provided. I opted for a pesto sandwich, as avocado toast was not available on the menu. The sandwich was priced at $23, yet the ordering process required patrons to queue, and tipping was expected despite the lack of table service. Unfortunately, the chicken lacked flavor, and the overall presentation of the dish did not justify the cost. I cannot recommend this place

Food was superb, but the coffee was disappointing. Tried the regular coffee and "espresso". Regular coffee was totally acceptable: light on flavor for my taste, but many people prefer this "diner-style" coffee with breakfast. The espresso, however, was terrible. It was very watered down: slightly stronger than the regular coffee. I sent it back hoping it was a fluke and the replacement was the same. I even checked and they are making it on a real espresso machine, so perhaps the procedure is off (grind size, weight, water to bean ratio, or machine setup). I still paid for it because of the honest effort to make it right and I did drink it for the caffeine.

The food was truly excellent (had a Florentine benedict with potatoes and a fruit crepe). The benedict was a good portion with perfectly cooked eggs and the crepe was one of the best I've had. I love how the fruit crepe is only sweetened by the fruit and a light drizzle of honey allowing the crepe itself to shine.

The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because this is a cafe and if you offer espresso, it should attempt to match the superior quality of the food. I believe this can be fixed with a little research and an afternoon of experimentation.

Breakfast in Downtown San Jose in the SoSA district. Eggs Benedict, omelette, crepes, coffee, etc. Order at the counter, they bring the food very quickly, friendly staff, good lookin menu.

Hello everyone.
Welcome to the whisper cafe. This is a great breakfast place with fast service. I recommend the Greek omelet. This place serves breakfast,lunch and dinner. Beer and wine is available with h a wide variety to choose from. They have outside seating and are dog friendly. There plenty of parking outside and accept cash and card.
