It’s a small hot pot pot with a lot of meats! Delicious and cute! but we’re not okay with their SAUCE! they don’t have a regular hot pot sauce or sirracha Sauce. Their Sauce is a little weird!! it’s not match with Hot Pot!

Service is great!!

Atmosphere and lighting is good too.

They take Zelle or Cash only!!!

Wu Ji Mala Hotpot holds so many memories for me . I’ve been coming here since my teenage years, and the flavors are still just as amazing as ever. The beef tendon and tripe are outstanding ,tender, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable.

I have been coming to Wuji for 10+ years. It's bar none the best single serve mala hotpot in the US. Yep. I said it. It's definitely one of the iykyk places. Having original owner back is nice, the soup base must have crack in it because once you have it you always crave more. We routinely drive 1h+ to come to eat here, it's a bit of a cult. I know people who drive up from LA or come from from Seattle to eat here. It's definitely not for everyone but you won't find anything like it really despite hotpot and malatang becoming so regular in the bayarea.

Been eating here for 15 years now. Unique mala hotpot that you should try if you like spicy

Cash or Zelle only. Should make it clear by posting a sign or something.

I suggest eating here if you really love napa cabbage and vermicelli. The house soup almost tastes like milk to me, since the broth is so white. The meat portion was decent and the quality was not bad.

The mala soup base was definitely more catered toward my taste, I wasn’t a fan of the house broth. They give an absurd amount of napa cabbage and noodle, but not much else. There was also no rice (prob since close to closing) and not much of a broth refill.

The newly upgraded space is bright, comfortable, and inviting. After hearing that the original owner has resumed management, I couldn't wait to give it another try. We arrived right at the first dinner seating at 6 PM on a particularly hot day-but thanks to the air-conditioning, it was perfectly comfortable.

I ordered the 0.5 spicy mala beef broth, and my mom had the non-spicy creamy broth. The mala broth was just as it should be-rich, flavorful, and full of that signature taste I've missed so much. It truly brought back the original, delicious experience.

We left completely stuffed and satisfied. I'm so happy this place is back to its old glory, and we'll definitely be returning for more hot pot soon!

Authentic flavor, everything is perfect, especially love the beef tendons, tripe, intestines and tofu with mala broth.

The place is newly renovated and looks much better than before.

Wuji Mala Hotpot is seriously so good. The owner is incredibly kind and generous--it feels like you're being welcomed into someone's home.

The food is top quality: bouncy glass noodles, super tender beef, tofu soaked with flavor, soft tempura, sweet shrimp, and fresh, crunchy veggies. And the mala broth? Amazing. I recommend getting it on the side so you can control the spice level.

The place is newly renovated and looks great.

I was treated to this meal because my student is the owner's grandchild, but this review is totally genuine.

Recently renovated this is a classic hot pot location. The broth is very rich and worth tasting on its own. The spicy mala is always what I go for allowing you to customize your spice level. Other mala hot pot places rarely focus on the flavor of the broth where as Wuji has mastered a flavor that is addicting and spicy. Service was great and attentive . I highly recommend for spice lovers!

I saw on Google Maps that it was still open, so I drove for half an hour. But when I got there, it was closed. Bad review, bad review, bad review.

The service is very terrible. They accept Cash Only. No receipts after you pay the bill. No ‘thanks’ after you give them tips. Also, they will remind you that ‘the service fee has not included in the bill’.

I love Wu Ji’s! I’ve been coming here for 8+ years when I used to live in the city. Whenever I come back to the Bay Area I make a trip to come here ? I couldn’t find any mala pot like this anywhere, not in NYC, not in Taipei. (If anyone knows please let me know!) It’s special. I would recommend swap the normal beef with Wu Ji’s beef mala beef pot and go with spice level 3. I hope it stays in business forever.
