It was expensive for the amount of food they give. Also water is not free, you need to pay it. They took our order late.

The food, I thought was rustic in nature. Very good flavors and nothing too fancy.

Shocking how bad the attitude of the owner was towards us. Zero star for that and the ServiceCrazy how overpriced is everything, a chicken kabab for $26 and it doesn’t end there, they charge you extra $6 for asking Half rice/half Salad.Simplest appetisers will cost you $16 ( for reference, it will be around $6-8 in all the other restaurants)Be careful not to breathe more than you supposed to do, they may charge you for that too. They only want your money.

We bought koobide and rice and lamb shank with baghali polo, I can't even describe how perfect it was—the taste and texture were the best."

The Koobideh is as best as the Bazar in Tehran. One of the highest quality in the bay area I have ever experienced. It is juicy and tasteful. We ordered for a party of +25 people and we did pick up the order ( they offer a delivery for a fee, which sound like a good deal too, but we had a friend nearby who picked it up for us).The process of ordering was very smooth, we stopped by and talked with the manager. He was very helpful and explained all the options for the order, and even helped us to itemize our order to get a better deal! The day of pickup, they did a great job in packing. We received separated trays( Aluminum trays, we move the food to our own chafing later) of koobideh, grilled tomatos&jalapeños, rice and bread and Sabzi! ( big amount of fresh basil and mint!). There were also a bowl of Sumac. Although it was a 20 minutes drive from the restaurant to our place, the food was still pretty hot!All our guests loved the food, and we were very happy to have chosen Yas for our Fiesta!

We have eaten at the restaurant (food was great and so was the service) and also had Yas cater for our party of 60 people this weekend. The food arrived on time and was warm and they provided serving containers and even a warmer to use (for the back up platters). Everyone was very happy with the taste and quality of the food. I’d highly recommend them for Catering of mid-large size events.
