This place gets worse every year. No place to sit. Incredibly claustrophobic inside and outside. The food used to be the top 5 best food I’ve ever had but I’m never going there again. The quality has dropped significantly. There is no service either.

I ordered Khafan sandwich The quality of the food is zero, Customer service zero, Lettuce in the sandwich was already bad, and all around of lettuce was black, lettuce wasn't washed properly, you can see in picture about tomato no comment.

Food is so much worse now. Claustrophobic both inside and outside. And no service. Yeganeh gets worse every single year.

Best persian style breakfast spot in the area. Best fresh bread. People always line up to get the fresh bread. Food is excellent, lot of coffee & tea options. Outdoor seating

Kind and authentic cafe. Ambiance was super cute. It's lovely to sit outside on a nice day and enjoy a delicious, well made latte--which they served to me when I already sat myself; a really sweet gesture. Workers seem to enjoy themselves too. I have yet to try the food but it looks good!

Unfortunately very disappointed with their sandwiches . The bread was not fresh at all. This is the second time we order sandwiches and the bread is not fresh. Also we ordered Turkish coffee it was served in broken saucer . For the money they charge they should have more respect and better service to their customers. Won't come back!

The place has changed quite a bit. They cater to sweets and Iranian grocery now. They carry their own brand and others. The service is spotty. One person was very knowledgeable and helpful. They do have limited outdoor seatings.

I really enjoyed the food I got. It was *different* than what you see on most menus. I would describe it as an "ethnic" hot dog sandwhich - but in a good way! The bread was pretty big, I only ate half the sandwhich. My friend enjoyed her meal a lot as well. The feta block is pretty funny and random, but they gave bread with it and she shared it with me. I thought it was some of the best feta I ever had. The ambiance is very chaotic, it is a grocery store so you have to walk in and go to the back, and the back only has about 10 tables so if you don't time it right you might not get a spot to sit. You order at the cashier and then they give you a number and bring the food. No complaints there. It was funny because we were able to buy some stuff (I bought feta, my friend bought a pastry for her mom).

Been coming to Yeganeh Bakery for nearly a decade for one thing, and one thing only.... SANGAK. IMO, they make the best one in the bay. The 3 foot long Persian sourdough wheat flatbread studded with sesame seeds ($6.50) is perfectly soft and chewy...blistered...nutty...and versatile. Make a wrap, pair with a dip, top with avocado, put alongside your charcuterie, or spread with jam or honey. Use your imagination. I once ate their sangak straight for 3 days...for every meal. Enuff said. GET IT! O T H E R I N F O * Yegenah Bakery is the first sangak bakery in NorCal. * While their housemade sangak is bomb, they rarely have fresh ones available. Just frozen ones which doesn't make sense for a sangak bakery...hence the 4 stars. * Storing: Cut sangak into individual portions and store them in the freezer. * They also sell Persian pastries and sweets. And, breakfast and lunch fare; e.g. omelets and sandwiches. Juice, coffee, and tea. * Packed on the weekends so come early! * Dog-friendly front patio.

The toasty Persian bread with black sesame seeds was much better than high ended restaurant / hotel meal during my 16 days Iran trip . The service was nice. Try the beef tongue sandwich wrapped with Persian bread!

What a hidden gym in the bay. Seems to family run or by a community that’s very close. They are so friendly they’ll come up to talk to you very casually and help out your any need. The biggest learning for me though is that much more of a restaurant vibe than cafe vibe! The coffee is great but grab some food, and put the work away and enjoy!
