Tlayuda
Pronounced tla-you-da. Small, handmade, fresh pressed organic corn tortilla, toasted over a comal until crunchy. Sometimes referred to as Mexican pizza. Covered with a spread of black bean purée prepared with toasted avocado leaves, topped with tomato, guacamole, avocado, queso fresco (Oaxacan cheese), and your choice of salsa.
Taco
One fresh-pressed organic corn tortilla served with cilantro, onions, guacamole, and your choice of salsa.
Breakfast Taco
One fresh-pressed organic corn tortilla with black beans, cilantro, onions, guacamole, and your choice of salsa.
Gluten-Free Super Burrito

Mole Negro Plate
Our black mole is rich, thick, velvety smooth, gluten-free, vegan, and deeply colored. Served with rice, black beans, and two fresh homemade organic corn tortillas.

Fresh-pressed organic corn tortilla folded and stuffed with jack cheese and your choice of salsa.
Gluten-free Mexican Wedding Cookies
Gluten\-free snowball cookies, also known as polvorones, are super tender butter cookies, made with chopped nuts and always covered in powdered sugar.

Moles, Salsas, and Guacamole
Mole Negro (12 oz)
The most famous of Oaxaca's moles, our mole is made with 23 different ingredients which are five dry chiles, tomatoes, plantains, apples, prunes, raisins, peanuts, cinnamon sticks, onions, garlic, tomatoes, sesame seeds, chocolate, corn chips, chocolate, spices, canola oil, salt, and sugar.
Mole Amarillo (12 oz)
Our mole sauce is made with dried chile guajillo, tomatoes, tomatillos, onions, garlic, spices, corn masa, canola oil, and salt.
Roasted Tomato Salsa (12 oz)
Mild. Ripe tomatoes with onion and fresh garlic, all charred to heighten the flavor.
Salsa de Arbol (12 oz)
Medium, Smoky and zesty, made with chile de arbol, tomatillo, onions, and fresh garlic.
Habanero Salsa (12 oz)
Made with sautéed habanero chiles, garlic, and tomatoes.
Guacamole (12 oz)
Made with fresh avocados, onions, cilantro, and lime juice.

Champurrado
Chocolate-based atole, a warm and thick Mexican beverage, prepared with masa de maíz (lime-treated-corn dough).
Cafe de Olla
The flavor of café de olla is created by different ingredients including ground coffee, cinnamon, and also piloncillo (unrefined whole cane sugar).

Chilaquiles
Corn tortilla chips simmered in guajillo and ancho sauce top with black beans, cream, queso fresco, onions and cilantro.
Huevos Rancheros
Two fried eggs on a corn tortilla top with our tomato sauce serve with black beans, rice and an extra tortilla.
Pozole
Our Traditional pozole is a rich, brothy soup made with guajillo and ancho dry chiles with spices and hominy. Serve with toppings like shredded cabbage, radishes, cilantro and lime.

I always visit Zaida's food truck at the Palo Alto farmers market every time I am in the bay area because it is just that good. Her tostadas with slow braised pork is to DIE for. I've been to Oaxaca several times and haven't found real authentic Oaxacan food outside of Oaxaca that is as good as hers. Thank you, Zaida!!

Best Mexican food, fresh ingredients, and fantastic flavors. Each tortilla is made to order, and everything is made from scratch. Those with a refined palate will appreciate the layers of authentic flavors!

Honestly had such a great experience. I went to oaxaca not too long ago and Zaida’s food took me back instantly. You can literally taste the heritage in her recipes. All authentic and hand made from scratch. Doesn’t get much better. ?? ✨
