I love Zanotto's in Willow Glen, delicious bakery goods, butchers on hand, wonderful pastas to try, always something delicious at Zanotto's.

Stopped here today for their fresh made sandwiches which they will gladly heat for you. Tried the Chicken Pesto and Turkey Bri on French baguette with some chips. The prices are also very reasonable considering the fresh ingredients.I saw some fire fighters all lined up for sandwiches which is the best endorsement from the local community. Will be making weekly trips here for lunch on the go.

On a raining day and they decided to close early (I looked them up on Google and it says that they closes at 9pm). Please at least keep your info updated so customers don’t need to make a trip for nothing. It’s just not cool. And the man was very mean after I walked in at 8:03pm.

best store bought pie I've ever had definitely tastes homemade because it is homemade and all though its expensive even for a tiny one it is so decidennt that it is worth it. I can't wait to see the guests faces when they bite into it tonight for thanksgiving.

This endorsement seems superfluous, but if you like classic Italian deli with multi-generational service and food quality. Then stroll into this place a feast on the many delicacies. Don't forget to grab a ticket on your way in and grab a side of "Ravs"!

We stopped in San Jose coming back from Aptos for the Textile Museum. It was lunch time and we wanted a good deli sandwich. My search brought me to Zanotto's. We got 2 of the prepared sandwiches, Turkey, Apple and Brie as well as Salami and Brea. They were toasted perfectly and were delicious. Since we had been traveling over the weekend we thought about dinner for Sunday night at home. Bought some beautiful Tri-Tip's and other groceries. Thank is a cool market.

We just went to a special event at Zanotto's in Willow Glen: sampling tawny port aged 10, 20, 30, and 40 years...and with each set of four glasses there was a lovely cheese and charcuterie plate, all this for each person. Experts explained the process for producing port, and founded in 1790, the Sandeman brand knows what it is doing. Anyway, the mood was very upbeat....(This was of course a commercial for Sandeman, but worth it: the bottles were sold on site at a huge discount, like $20 per bottle less expensive than at discount liquor stores. So we did a little Christmas shopping...)

Still my favorite family owned grocery! Every year the selection gets better, and they do a great job featuring local vendors. No matter what random ingredients I need, they seem to have it.

Excellent meat and cheese selection but a little pricey. Sandwiches from the deli counter are top notch.

Good quality sandwiches, veggies, breads, dessert, wines and awesome craft beer selection.Update:Zanotto’s has proven to be my goto picnic, happy hour, deli sandwich and grocery store sushi place. The Italiano sando is one of my favorites-just circle “italiano” on the order form-don’t deviate from the recipe please. Ready made picnic boxes from sando’s, charcuterie, burritos, spinach dip, hummus and lots more. A hug selection of cold beverages to wash it down. Taco Works chips!! Five dollar sushi friyays!! Folks are super nice here plenty of parking. There’s a Starbucks in the center for your caffeine needs. Cheers!
