Great food, gorgeous garden
Solid restaurant in SJB. Plenty of seating and the food is good. My go to is the chile verde, last time it was just a little salty but usually it’s not. Homemade tortillas are delish.

I ordered Albondigas soup, sadly it was too salty and not fresh, it tasted a day or two old. The server tried to be nice, but was a bit rude at answering our questions. My guests were not impressed with their food selections either. We drove more than an hour for an early dinner there but it was a total 😞
I can’t express how delicious this place is! Amazing authentic food, large portions at a great price.

An old favorite! Lots of early California atmosphere and great Mexican grub. Outstanding service, fast and efficient.
Amazing outdoor patio dining area! Super spacious and lots of umbrellas for shade on hotter days. The food is phenomenal and they offer pitchers of their margaritas which is always a plus. On a nice day, there’s nothing better than sitting outside with a good meal. The kitchen is fast and the food is fresh. Service was also great! They’re good about refills and checking on your table.

Love this restaurant, we drove from San Jose because my husband wanted a bowl of menudo and it was the best he has ever had! I had one of their appetizer plates, the mini flautas & quesadillas! Worth the drive, great food, great service and very reasonably priced! Highly recommend. And the atmosphere is perfect!

I had the tamale in taco plate with rice and beans and the rice and beans were okay. The taco was good, but the tamale sucked. The tamale did not have a good taste at all in my opinion
And I've eaten a lot of tamales in my life.
And they are definitely on the pricey side.
It was a typical Sunday afternoon at Jardines. The patio area was well seated even with the strong breeze. This time we ate indoors for the first-time. The food was good, one Asada burrito plate, one taco & tamale plate and one chili verde plate. For some reason today, we didn't feel it was as flavorful as we have come to expect. Maybe next time we pass thru it will be.
Always fantastic

Food portions cut in half and prices way too much for what you get. Sure not like they used to be. Dissappointed.

We were very disappointed with the chile rellenos. They were garbage. They tasted like they were fried in very old oil. There was no discernible taste other than the fishy taste of the filthy oil. They had no texture, it was like biting into a soggy mess. They should be ashamed to serve people that and call it chile relleno. Obviously they cater to tourists and they have no incentive to make good food since they won't see any of those people again.
The salad was good, with fresh ingredients and chilled perfectly. Why they can make a good salad and serve it with that disgusting mess of a chile relleno I don't know.
