Great aesthetic inside but sadly was not impressed by either the food or the service. Went on Sunday after 3 and our waitress had zero clue when the menu switched to the dinner service since the time printed on the menu was incorrect even though the menu was updated recently and had different times. Also the kitchen shuts down for an hour during the switch in which time you cannot order almost anything. Not posted anywhere and there is no way to know before experiencing it. Very disappointed from people who run so many restaurants and want premium prices for a sub-par experience.

This restaurant is pretentious and unwelcoming. Word of warning to the brown folks who are in the area!

Bloom is the #1 spot for brunch! I love the location, the food, and the ambiance! The people who work there are also exception, especially our server, Makenzie! She was friendly and informative about the dishes. I highly recommend the waffles! Will definitely visit again

Great brunch and their menu for other meals is also amazing. Some of the best French fries I’ve ever had.

Truly excellent food! We were celebrating an anniversary and every employee made a point of congratulating us. Excellent service and a wonderful way to celebrate a special milestone.

Great meal, wonderful service, nice place. Hostess was irritated we interrupted her call and was a bit icky to us -- whatever. We had the nut crusted halibut and the stuffed blossoms. Lovely.

We had another amazing dining experience at Bloom. The service was extraordinary (thanks Chelsea!!!) with the perfect amount of attentiveness and care. The manager, Kyle greeted and welcomed our group at the table and the other staff were very friendly and courteous. I can't emphasize enough at how friendly and personal the staff all were — which is not very common lately in restaurants. Every dish was visually stunning, big on taste, with ample portion sizes. They treated us well as we celebrated a birthday which made it even more special and memorable. Highlights were the Chef's Lamb special, Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Kurobuta Pork Belly, and the Jidori Half Chicken Picatta. We also had cocktails, wine, salad, and desserts — all of which were wonderful. This is truly a gem in south county — just steps from the mission in Capistrano.

We’ve been to Bloom a couple times and the food does not disappoint. Servings are huge which I hate haha. Service is excellent. It’s in a perfect part of town in a beautiful building across from the mission.

We found this on Restaurant Week. It is part of a group. We are familiar with Olea also in the group. The food was excellent as was the service. It was the first time I had the seabass which was perfectly prepared. The sauce enhanced the taste of the accompanying vegetables as well as bringing out the flavor of the seabass. My wife had the lamb which was also excellent. Our server Chelsea was friendly and welcoming. Her service was great and she provided insight into both food selections and cocktails. Joshua stopped by to chat and welcome us for the first time. This is the only Restaurant in the group who's menue varies. So it offers some interesting alternatives to the others like Olea and Vine. We highly recommend this relatively new location near the Mission.

This is a lovely restaurant with a very friendly staff. My expectations were high in anticipation of our first meal at Bloom. I wanted to love it but I felt as though several of the items were lacking in flavor. The Wagyu beef burger was large and presentable, and it did not wow me. The fries were a little too soggy for me as well. The Zucchini Flower appetizers did not have much flavor. The menu description mentioned that it had roasted garlic inside but I could not taste it. I'd like to give it another try but I'd rather spend my $100 on some more enjoyable tastes.

Stopped by Bloom for brunch and so glad I did. Emily served us and she was great. We ordered the lemon crème fraîche waffles and American double burger. The waffles were great. It came with REAL syrup which is always nice. The burger and fries were flavorful. Also ordered a Bloody Mary. It was good but you wouldn't know they added any vodka. For $10 I want to taste at least a shot. Of course I still drank it. The ambiance was great. Very clean. Overall, a great place for a bite to eat. Maybe stick to one of the nearby bars to grab a drink.

My wife and I enjoyed the chef's special appetizer of cheesy artichoke dip with bread and had 1/2 dozen oysters. Loved the bacon wrapped meatloaf and my wife said sea bass was delicious. Excellent service from Ryan and bus staff. A little noisy for my liking. Great location. We went to the El Camino Playhouse to cap off a wonderful date night.
