Perfecto! A wonderful gem with attentive and friendly staff. The Mushroom Omelette with added Ham is the way to go, and the baguette sandwiches are so delightful! Fantastic pastries as well.
I stopped by Delice Breton today and absolutely loved everything I tried!
The coffee was rich and aromatic — a perfect start to the day.
Their signature sandwich was packed with flavor, made with fresh bread and high-quality ingredients.
The chocolate croissant was just like the ones you find in France — flaky, buttery, and filled with delicious chocolate.
I also had the egg and ham croissant, which was warm, satisfying, and full of flavor — a perfect breakfast option.
The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly.
I’ll definitely be coming back!
Absolutely love this hidden gem in San Clemente! The moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a cozy café in the heart of Brittany. The crêpes are perfectly thin and flavorful, both sweet and savory. I tried the ham & cheese galette and the Nutella banana crêpe—both were phenomenal. The staff is warm, welcoming, and truly passionate about what they serve. Coffee was rich and smooth, and the vibe is relaxed yet charming. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic French flavors.
Délice Breton catered our 25 person baby shower this past weekend. The food was delicious and all the guests raved about it. The order was ready on time and packaged nicely. Lucky for this host to have been sent home with the yummy leftovers ; )
I had avocado toast. It was simple on good sourdough bread, tomatoes, avocado, and drizzling of balsamic. Very fresh and good. My friend had a savory mushroom crepe, and it was very good. Coffee served is good but served in paper to go cups. The staff are pleasant and accommodating. Atmospher ok. It's not special or cozy. Lots of outdoor seating, which is fun.
Best crepes and coffee this side of the Atlantic!
I visited for the first time and found it to be just okay—nothing too special. I tried a savory crepe, but I’ve definitely had better crepes and coffee elsewhere.
Delice Breton is a gem for anyone who loves authentic French-inspired breakfast and brunch dishes. Their omelets are nothing short of exceptional – perfectly fluffy, rich in flavor, and generously filled with fresh, high-quality ingredients. They’re a testament to the care and expertise that goes into every dish. The crepes, while almost perfect, still manage to impress with their delicate texture and light sweetness. Whether you prefer them savory or sweet, you’re in for a treat that feels like a quick trip to Brittany.
The standout, though, is the avocado toast with salmon on top – quite simply the best I’ve ever had. The creamy avocado pairs beautifully with the perfectly smoked salmon, all atop a crisp yet soft slice of bread. It’s a dish that balances freshness, flavor, and texture to perfection. Add to that a cozy atmosphere and warm service, and Delice Breton becomes a must-visit spot for food lovers. Highly recommended!

They spent a lot of time designing the strawberries on the crepe, but that's about it. Otherwise dry and plain. Or other dish was ok, but nothing someone with average cooking skills couldn't make at home.
The worst part was the male staff making coffee who thought it best to yell back and forth to customers at a table over the register we were ordering at, so we had to keep repeating our order.
Overall, just can't recommend.

I'm beyond happy I was in the area to find this French cafe! I'm always looking for quaint cafe vibe, and this was it. Tucked away in an assuming business plaza, I had a salami baguette and an iced lavender latte, sub almond milk, under a patio set up in the front of the building. The salami baguette (thank you other reviews!) was about the size of my forearm, seemed simple but so delicious. I'm salivating a little thinking about it now. The baguette was perfectly crisp with a nice chew and the salami and cornichon a very flavorful combo. I asked about the sweetness level of the latte, which delivered to my surprise just how I prefer, only slightly sweetened. Plenty of parking, service was great, and I'm already planning on bringing my husband to try some of their other items.
Edit: I brought my husband and nephew for lunch the next day! We are in trouble because we have found the best baguette we've had in OC. What else we got: Croque Madame was delicious, the bread was so flaky. Turkey and cheese baguette, the dijon spread elevated this sandwich for me. Salmon baguette looked great, my nephew didn't share and ate it all.
