Came here after a rehearsal dinner for a wedding the following day and was treated with so much disrespect and disregard likely due to racism and discrimination. My group and I tried to get a bartenders attention on multiple occasions and were ignored for over 30 minutes. When we were served, our drinks were entirely wrong. Then when we finally decided to leave and close out our tab, we were ignored again for another half an hour. The bar was empty. Them ignoring us was more than intentional.

Don’t recommend this place at all. So many other great bars in the area that would gladly take our money and patronage.

Went for brunch on a Friday. No wait. Very friendly staff. Got a Bloody Mary (good) & Irish Coffee (ok). I ordered the Dublin Benedict, corned beef instead of Canadian bacon. It was very good. The side of potatoes were undercooked a bit.

I'm sure at night with all the live music and people this place is an entirely different story.

Parking: Parked behind the building in the paid lot walked up the stairs and then down the road a little.

First visit, I had the “special” (see photo) smash burger. Really good deal, only $6, instead of the normal price of $17.25.
Outdoor seating on the street side, was nice, friendly server did a very good job.
Irish Nachos was good, served on a hot plate.
Double patty “smash” burger was good, my only complaint was it really wasn’t a smash burger, because it didn’t have the normally tasty crispy edges.
Plate served hot, good fries with very good ranch style dip.
The best parking is a paid lot to the rear of the restaurant. But the walk to the restaurant is difficult, especially for a mobility challenged person, due to the steepness of the alleyway.
Recommended, we will be back.

The food here is amazing!! I got the poke on the appetizer section, and it was a generous amount of tuna, the fried wonton wraps it comes on were crispy and light and the bed of greens as a garnish made a great side salad. I would eat here again.

I just went in and was seated quickly. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all. After sitting at my table for 10 minutes and seeing staff hanging out paying no attention to me, I left and walked around the corner to Mayfield where I was sat and helped right away despite them being much busier.

Happy 4th of July at Hennessey's Tavern in SJC. We sat in the patio, and we're immediately helper by Bella. We ordered two ranch waters with Don Julio Blanco and the spinach artichoke dip. The service was good and ambiance positive and cool. Sarah made our drinks and took our entree order as we both ordered the Dublin Burger, and they were fantastic. Also, another round of drinks. Grace brought our food out and was quite kind as well. Good people, food, service, and ambiance.
Highly recommended.

We came for breakfast on a quiet Sunday morning. There was one server inside with only three tables of 6 total customers, with a few more people outside on the patio and a different server. Service was poor, and VERY slow, albeit smiling and polite. We were brought someone else's order, and later someone else's drink. We never got hot sauce, never had the opportunity to ask until we were done eating. We asked THREE TIMES for a glass of water, and didn't get one until we were done and had the check.

Pro:
Fair prices for San Juan.
Food came quickly after ordering.
Breakfast potatoes were good.
Nice patio.

Con:
Slow and inattentive service.
Average food, but it did the job.
Table wobbled.
Condiments all had HFCS.

I doubt we will return.

The bartenders are broke. I’ve had less homeless in Los Angeles ask me for cash than these bartenders beg for tips.

I had the happy hour bloody Mary and I was pleasantly surprised and I give it a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. I am a bloody Mary connoisseur and I think that this one definitely deserves a try.
