Great bbq but service last 2 times were an issue. Considering I spend $500+ each time ive went i expect great service no matter the establishment.
1st issue I had requested to have my platter split in 2 since it was a large $500 platter they made a big deal about it and didn't want to do it. What's the big deal to split it?
Today I took my nephew for his birthday and we were like 3rd in line seating was empty. My nephew wanted a certain table close to the street in open area while all tables were empty and the guy seating said another table. I said id like this table please and went Inside to get another dude that was rude and couldn't accommodate the table we wanted.
Also the ribs and brisket for whatever reason were pretty dry today..
After a few times going and spending good money im not sure if ill return after the crappy service.

Fantastic staff and clearly passionate about what they do. Exceptional BBQ craftsmanship behind the windows which is awesome. The flavors are outstanding and everything is made with such care. I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area. My only regret is not being here through the weekend to try their specials.

As of 9/13/2025 they do NOT sell Giant Beef Ribs on the weekend anymore due to supply chain issues and inconsistencies. They said should be coming back soon once renovations and supply chain issues resolved. Check before going!
Other then that the food here is amazing, highly recommend the brisket and the Mac and cheese as good first staples. It's kind of a long line due to how popular it is, but definitely worth it for a fun adventure with friends and family. The vibe and seating also quite nice!

Finally had the opportunity to try Heritage bbq a month or so ago at the US Surf Open and it was a pretty disappointing experience. Tacos were 2 for $20 and were just meat and tortilla. While the meat was very tender, it was also pretty salty. After a while of not selling anything, they made the prices lower which really just makes it seem like they were taking advantage and charging more. Overall, it definitely didn't make us want to try them again.

Currently they are cooking meats elsewhere, and bringing them in by vehicle, because of construction. Brisket was dried out, sausage was dried out, pulled pork was just okay. Their Mac n’ cheese was below average. Elote corn was pretty good. Won’t go back until they’re back to smoking their meats on site. Oh, and my beer wasn’t cold. 🤦🏻♂️

I wanted to like this place. With all the hype. Everything thing I tried was just mid tier. The brisket was okay at best. The pork spare rib was really tender. The char siu was tender but lacked flavor. Cheddar jalapeno sausage was average. The brisket beans and mac & cheese were nothing special. Hot cucumber was overly salty. The people work there are great! The wait on a Saturday was just over an hour.
