This review is for the SJC location. Service was nonexistent. The food took a long time to come out and once the runner dropped it off, the server never came by to see if everything was OK. We asked for more water, which the server brought, but again no dialogue about how the food was or if we needed anything else. Chicken Tikka was dry and food overall was nothing special. We were excited to try this place due to the great reviews. We won’t be going back. 2/28/25.

The food is great, service too. It is a pity they don’t work on the decor and make it more appealing, a little bit of character. The place is very kid friendly.

I am a big fan of Indian food and have tried many restaurants, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. I ordered the Lamb Biryani, and it was a disaster—extremely salty, the meat was completely raw, and the rice was dry and flavorless. My husband ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, and it was equally disappointing—way too oily and lacking any real flavor. The rice served with it was plain, with no curry or vegetables, which felt incomplete.

On top of that, the table was messy, and the overall dining environment was unclean. I had high expectations, but this restaurant failed on every level. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or even decent Indian food.

Food was good, but perhaps not quite as good as previously. It may have been a fluke this time. The food can be made of halal ingredients if you ask.

Quality of the meat is really inferior. I mentioned it to them a couple of times before with no avail. I don’t understand why they skimp on the meat quality when they charge almost $20 per plate. Meat is hard and chewy and they don’t clean it from all the crap that’s on it to add volume. I’m really disappointed.

amazing food, great for a party of four. prompt, quick, and attentive service. highly recommend mango chicken, chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, vegetable momos, garlic naan. everything was a delight.

Got takeout here for the first time and WOW. Best Indian food I’ve had in southern CA. Maybe the best chicken korma I’ve had, anywhere? I consider myself a reliable source — I’m a white girl, but I live for Indian food and have had it all over the country and also in India! Will absolutely be coming back here.

Parking: It’s in a large strip mall with a Vons so there is plenty of parking.

Kid-friendliness: I only took my kid in and out quickly but they were very friendly to him :) Seems like an easy place to take a family.

Best Indian food in America, confirmed by my buddy from India. Very friendly and attentive staff, clean and comfortable interior. 10/10 recommendation, incredible restaurant.

Big portions. I thought I didn't like Indian food as much until I came here. The lamb korma is amazing, just maybe a bit too much lamb ?. I'll try the vegetarian option next time.
