The food was good, nothing crazy but they actually don't offer cocktails....only wine. The ambiance was decent and not loud but the seating is a bit tight and not too comfortable. The service was good and I would probably go back with my toddlers and family again.

The overall dining experience was outstanding primarily due to the service, courtesy and attention of the owner and the staff. They were engaging, courteous, patient and helpful with suggestions on our order. I would highly recommend this restaurant and its cuisine.

A hidden gem. The good - every dish was tasty, varied menu, house chianti, dessert, service, ambiance. The bad - location. The ugly - nothing.

Had lunch here today. Ordered caprese salad and gnocchi with pesto sauce. Everything was delicious and looked great.

Visited this restaurant today because I'm in the area. As I saw this restaurant have 4.5 star, I have some expectation. To start it off, I think the food is decent, but nothing special. I would recommend their Li Sole Pizza. It was pretty crispy. However, the Dessert looks better than how it taste. The service was not attentive. There was only one server for the whole 2 1/2 hours. I would rank the service is below average. Maybe just that night.Environment was good, not many people were there. It is very quiet. Parking is easy to find. I think overall this is over priced for the service.

Absolutely delicious food! Wonderful service. It was cold outside so we asked to be seated inside, the doors were open and it was uncomfortably cold inside. Spoiled it a little bit for me ( I hate to be cold when I eat)

We were in the area with the purpose of seeing family. Hungry, we checked Yelp and this place was close by. Well these 2 ex-NYers with Italian heritage, were SO impressed with the food & service. Not only did we enjoy our lunch - we bought a gift card for the family that lives in the area too! It's not a typical red sauce & parmigiana place. It's refined Italian. I had the octopus salad, fig ravioli. My finicky Hubby had the linguine w/clams...and loved every morsel. The tiramisu was the best we ever had. I wish we lived closer - but now we will need to visit family just as an excuse to dine at Il Sole Cucina. I understand that they have 2 restaurants in the area. Owner/chef studied in Naples Italy - fantastico!

Tried it because of good reviews. 3 tables were being served when we arrived. We had reservations and were seated immediately.4 parties arrived after us - all walk ins, we had a reservation with a bday. 3 of the 4 parties were served & finishing up their dinner before ours even arrived, parties that walked in well after we did.Dinner came 1.5 hours after we were seated! We had to rush thru dinner & skip dessert as we were running late for a show at that point.Nice enough server but was overwhelmed and didn't manage the tables well. Others got quick service & the rest barely got acknowledged.Good food but pretty bummed we didn't get to enjoy it. And side note: no one acknowledged the birthday.

Had high hopes when checking this place out. I'm a big fan of our other local Italian restaurants and San Juan and Dana point. I was a little bit let down with my experience there. Table service was a little bit slow and it took quite a while for the food to get out of the kitchen, even things like the minestrone soup and Caesar salad. The preparation of the food was pretty good. However, the risotto didn't seem like it had the right time of rice, it seemed like a regular short grain rice, something that you might find in Mexican food. The salmon was prepared pretty well but definitely a bit oversalted. The fettuccine alfredo was heavy on the butter and light on the cream. Tried the tiramisu for dessert and just wasn't really that impressed. There is a ton of cocoa all over the dish and it really just didn't have much flavor. There's absolutely plenty of parking here. There's a decent wine selection. The pizzas that came out of the kitchen all looked pretty good. However, I didn't try any. The bread and pesto that were brought to the table were delicious. There's only one small bathroom for a single person which wasn't a big deal. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. There's a little more outside patio seating than there is inside seating. The patio seating outside is nice and provides a nice ambience. No complaints about the chairs or tables for inside or outside. I'll give it another year and then come check this place out again and update my review then.

Food was very good. Service was very slow and marginal. Server didn't check back after meal was served. When appetizers were removed, used silverware was placed back down onto the table. A non service dog that barked was allowed in the dining area.

Tried this restaurant as a new date spot for my husband and I. We decided to give it a try because of the Yelp reviews. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn't live up to its reviews. When we initially sat down, the server was attentive and we felt like this was going to be a great evening. As we waited for our bread (which we never got) my husband inquired with the server to ask about it. What came out was not our bread but our entree and what followed was tremendously ill service. The server did not check in with us once during our dining experience and walked by us probably a good handful of times. He checked in with the table to our left who spoke to him in Spanish. Then he checked in several times with a party that sat down 10 minutes after us. We were very surprised by the lackluster follow through. The food was decent- it might have tasted better had the service been above average. Overall, I don't recommend this place for a first time experience or date night.

My friends took me here for my birthday last month and we were greeted by the chef owner immediately. The ambiance was like eating at a friends house, the owner was serving us and recommending dishes even some not on the menu but would be happy to prepare. This was some of the best Italian food I've ever had and the presentation was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this wonderful place!

Caesar salad very nice. Second course took way too long lobster ravioli usually excellent was just very good. Lamb chops 3 small ones $45 were fatty and cooked medium rare. I asked for medium. We like this place but last night was a bit disappointing Server brought a few butternut raviolis so so cause our main took 40 -50 minutes after salad. Also gave us comp dessert tiramisu average never of which we order or asked for. Made up a little

First time visit and will definitely be returning. Although my pasta dish had some stuck-together pappardelle, the food quality and selection was very good. Service was excellent. Met quite a few first time customers enjoying the food and ambience. They have a large outdoor seating area with some live music on a Saturday night. We will bring some friends on our next visit,

My husband and I went here for my birthday dinner last night and let me tell you...it is one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever been to. Our server was Pablo who was very knowledgeable and welcoming. He let us take our time with choosing a wine. We ended up getting one of the bottles on special and it was amazing. We ordered the garlic bread and Brussel sprouts to start which were both delicious. I ordered the lobster ravioli and he ordered one of the specials of the night. Both of our meals were out of this world. I never finish my meals and I basically licked my plate clean. The restaurant vibe is very cozy and romantic but it's welcoming to any and all types of guests. We sat on the patio and it was perfect. We will definitely be back!
