Limoncello Ristorante

Second visit to Limoncello and want to say the food is excellent in every way. Last night I had Arugula salad (very lemony dressing), the Risotto (outstanding) and chocolate gelato which was VERY chocolate. Topped with a nice wine. All Excellent. As for atmosphere, lots of large parties there last night celebrating Christmas and birthdays so was quite noisy, but 'tis the season. Highly recommend Limoncello. Food and service are excellent and above average. Menu is extensive with very different and interesting options. If they would have served a shot of Limoncello after dinner I would have thought I was dining in Italy.

So delicious and the staff and Giovanni, the owner, was so warm and friendly! Highly recommend the Polipo con Patate, Spaghetti Positano, Pane with the Pesto Vinaigrette, and of course, Tiramisu.

We booked a group dinner at Limoncello for a corporate dinner of senior consultants - the whole Limoncello team was amazing from start to finish. Giovanni’s attention to detail was impeccable. He recommended several food and wine options, worked with our budget, and made beautiful customized menus for our group. The service was attentive and quick - we couldn’t have asked for an easier process to finalize our event. If we come back to the SJC area we will definitely come back to Limoncello. Authentic and delicious Italian food!

As a frequent traveler to CA and Italian American native of New York, I can firmly state this is some of the best Italian food I’ve had in California - and my opinion counts because most of the Italian food in America is quite awful and people have no idea what good Italian food is. Best of luck to this new restaurant and its owners, I’ll certainly be back. Tomorrow probably.

This is a special meal …. not far from picturesque San Juan Capistrano Mission or for after a golf game at Marbella Country Club). Enjoy an authentic Italian menu alfresco and pretend you’re still on vacation in Italy. Love this special find! The staff are super attentive and the menu offers a wide selection of delicious authentic dishes. All of the pastas are homemade and their flour is imported from Italy! There's a very nice wine selection predominately featuring bottles from Italy and California, while you can also opt to bring your own for a reasonable corkage fee. Our server Erica was absolutely awesome... we can't wait to go back!

I cannot recommend Limoncello enough. Giovanni and his staff were amazing and treated us like family. I contacted him to place a huge catering order for a high school cross country team in town from Colorado needing a pre-race meal. Giovanni made recommendations and was able to accommodate dairy and gluten allergies. The parents and team praised the meal as being the most delicious travel meal we have ever had. The baked pasta, Tirimisu and salad were all beyond delicious and there was enough food for second helpings AND the team’s lunch the following day. Giovanni was kind, welcoming and eager to help us all have a wonderful authentic Italian pre-race meal. Definitely recommend 10/10. We will certainly order again next year!

Man, what an experience. I saw good reviews and was skeptical, but this place lives up to the rating.
Fast service - the food came out in a very timely manner.
Excellent food - ample portion, creative playing, abundant sauce, and every dish was different and fresh. You can really taste the difference. I can't recommend this place enough! What an amazing restaurant!

Recommended by a dear friend who happened to be there at the same time we were, this restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The staff greeted us warmly and seated us right away, offering fantastic dish recommendations. Everything we tried was delicious! I enjoyed a glass of Chianti while my husband had Peroni. We ordered the fresh tomato mozzarella plate, the strawberry beet salad, the special fish, and the incredible shrimp tube pasta. I’ve already shared my recommendation with a few neighbors. The atmosphere on the outdoor patio is simply wonderful!

This restaurant is a gem!!! We had ravioli capri, gnocchi colognes, and lasagna (4) of us. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had in a long tome. The lemonade had a distinct, bright lemon flavor thst didn't melt down in the ice.
Could tell the pasta was freshly made, chef Tony is awesome. Our server also attentive and friendly. Will be coming back with our friends!
