The service was a 6 out of 5 stars.
It was a random find for "places near me" search and it is now a favorite on my maps.

Highly recommend!

This is my Dad's favorite place and we came to celebrate his 84th birthday. Did not disappoint! Food was great and so was their service. You can see they take pride in their restaurant!

My go to place when I'm in town. I make a point of eating here several times when I'm in town. I'm obsessed with the crunch chicken tacos. So miss great Mexican food in Idaho. Wished they'd come open up a restaurant in Boise! As a long time patron of this restaurant, I grew up in the area,I'm glad it's still around and Ricardo still is always helping out.

Make sure you try the house green sauce. Holy cow! I dream about this place!

Always my go when I'm in town. I grew up in the area and it's still the same amazing hole in the wall restaurant. Great service with friendly staff. Always fun to see the owner still working onsite. I dream of these crunchy chicken tacos and house green sauce. It's fabulous.

This place has the best employees around. The food is just not quite the best, but the service makes up for it!

Best tacos and margaritas around! I recommend the large, spicy, cucumber, and Jalapeño margarita. You won't be disappointed. That sucker is HUGE!

Parking: There aren't many spots available near the restaurant. Prepare to walk.

I went here during a wedding party, so they really take care of you. Don't know what regular service is like but the food was fresh and hot. Your right down the street from the old mission for something to walk around and digest afterwards.

Ricardo’s Place is a must-visit every time we’re in San Juan Capistrano. This family-run, local spot never disappoints with its generous portions, flavors, and service that hit the mark.

One of my favorites is the Surfer Burrito with chicken—hold the rice. Personally, I’m not a fan of rice in a burrito; it’s just a filler with no flavor. But rice or no rice, this burrito checks all the boxes: size, flavor, and satisfaction.

The California Burrito with carne asada is equally delicious and worth trying. And don’t leave without trying the horchata—it's a must! If you like a bit of ETOH, a shot of rum is a good addition ordered al-a-carte.

The staff here is friendly, and the service is both attentive and quick. I've been coming to this location since it was Harry’s, a great diner in its time, but Ricardo’s has taken it to the next level.

As you can see from the photos, Moses (as always) had a flair for mischief during one visit. In a moment of hunger-fueled inspiration, he wrapped himself up in a burrito, channeling his inner ‘Tortilla Prophet.’ We caught him just before he declared the ‘Ten Commandments of Salsa’—thankfully, he avoided becoming the main course.

Moses highly recommends delicious adventures at Ricardo’s.

Kid-friendliness: No judgement zone for large families
