This review is directed towards Matt at the driving range. I usually go there Thursday evenings and he's extremely nice to everyone and remembers peoples names. You can tell he likes what he does and he makes the atmosphere a lot more welcoming and enjoyable

SJH is a fun course and has an excellent driving range. I recently had a great experience at the driving range on a Saturday night. Matt was especially friendly and made me feel welcome. He was very attentive when I was getting a bucket and asked if I wanted any food or drinks. I saw him later picking up empty buckets as he walked around and talked with me and the other customers to check on whether we needed anything. I'd be happy to come back any time Matt is working the range.

San Juan Hills golf club is the best kept secret in Orange County. It is like a private country club with public prices. The staff in the clubhouse are always the best. The restaurant has the most amazing delicious food and our favorite waitress is Morgan. Thank you for making our Wednesdays the best day of the week!

Enjoy the food, drink and service. Fun menu. Great Bands Friday- Sunday and no cost cover charge. Safe, fun, relaxing and affordable. Please tip your bands and Service Teams... Remember, if you enjoy and appreciate an establishment then take care of them. Help them offer us in our community and share the love!

The pizza and salad were very good. However, we were expecting entertainment. Our waitress and other workers had no idea why they weren't there. They never showed up.

We have come here several time to listen to live music. The food has been consistently very good. The staff is very attentive and the place is clean and well kept. It's quite a drive for us, but the band is worth it. It's a great venue! I highly recommend!

We were not allowed in. They were having a private party, which is fine, but the woman/manager was just nasty to us. We will never try to go there again.

We were there for the live band and we were not disappointed. The band was amazing, food was excellent and service was great. It was a Friday and the place was packed. It's advisable to come in early in order to secure a seat. Lots of guests were turned Beck because there were no seats by the time the band started playing. The dance floor was always filled with guests dancing. It was a fun place.

Am giving this a generous 2 stars, but this is a difficult one. I don't plan on attending their New Years Eve event in the future, but giving less than 2-stars for just this one event didn't seem fair. The band (Family Style) was excellent, the food was well prepared and the staff was great. My issue was they celebrated East coast New Years; meaning, at 9pm everyone yells 'Happy New Year', and the band stops at 10pm and they kick everyone out. Technically they advertised until 10 and would be celebrating East Coast new years- I originally thought this was a bit odd that they would do that 'too' -- but who the hell celebrates NYE in another time zone?!? I assumed we would be running through Midnight, so found myself finding another event elsewhere and paying for it to celebrate NYE in our own time zone (feels funny even writing that). To add insult to injury, the lady at the reception I brought this up to tried convincing me they had a lot of complaints from patrons in the past that it runs too late, so they decided to end it early this year celebrating East Coast. Nobody is going to buy that line of bull, please don't insult your customer's intelligence.

Do your self a favor and don't golf here. Course is not maintained and prices are outrageous.

San Juan Hills golf course is a great place for golf, food, drinks, and hanging out. The service of the staff is top notch. I’m a San Juan Capistrano Rotarian and we have our weekly meetings there. The staff serves up to 80 people at once and never disappoints. Highly recommended!

By far the best golf course in the area! Tee boxes, fairways, rough, fringe and greens are always well taken care of! The guys in the pro shop, Christian, Alika, Ray, Mitch always make sure everyone is happy and taken care of thoroughly. In the bar...Kyle and Mark are absolutely awesome! The pricing especially in-club, is the best pricing for quality you can get in Orange County. If you haven't been here, it is definitely worth the time and money to stop in!

Used to be a real hidden gem with excellent food at affordable prices. Now it's hit or miss, prices went up like most places and the menu changed. But overall it's hit or miss. Service has changed too.

Went to watch some football and had a great time there. The food was actually very tasty for a Golf Club restaurant...the steak was slightly tougher than I preferred but still tasty. The service was a high light...they were friendly, polite and attentive...a little surprising given that it was fairly full of people and groups. The feeling was positive due to the service and the looks of the restaurant...the view over the golf course was a definite positive for us. We will go there again for baseball, football, soccer (futbol) or any other sport viewing...Thanks to the management, serving staff and bartender for the very friendly experience...you have made a few fans for the next few years...

We had an Oklahoma Sooner watch party that was on our 3rd year there. After bad customer service we were told by Ryan the GM we can take our business elsewhere if we like. We did just that. This is the last thing you say to customers ever. He alone lost all our business. Loved the food by the way.
