I've never been the biggest fan of Subway but like most people faced with the mediocre lunch options of a suburban shopping center, I've been to my fair share.My friend and I were in the middle of a road trip and had come to the beginning of the Ortega highway. Knowing that this would be the last food stop for miles, we let out a familiar sigh - a sigh that I have come to know as the Subway sigh. A sigh that comes when you know there are a million other places you'd rather eat but this is what you've got.I went with my go to order, the Italian BMT. It was generously loaded with meat, toasted to perfection, and abundantly populated with fresh veg. The spreads were proportionate, the wrap up was perfect, and the cookie was warm. Everything about this eating experience was amazing. I can confidently say this is the best Subway I've ever been to.Not to mention the woman behind the counter, who I assume to be the owner, was INCREDIBLY sweet. I was transported back to a time when my mom would make me sandwiches when I came inside after a long day of play.In closing...yes, this is still a Subway, but it's a special one. Leave your Subway sigh at the door, you're in for a Subway surprise :)

I walked in the Subway shop near my house and San Juan Capistrano. I thought "great, the attendant is really young". "I sure hope he can make a good sandwich". It was the end of the day and I was really tired. However, his kindness and expertise immediately ignited my guilt because of my judgemental attitude as I entered the shop. He was so kind and so pleasantly helpful with designing my sandwich, I was so grateful. He played the nicest soft music - so I decided to eat inside the shop. His goodness and kind demeanor made a bad day good for this old gal. Thank you Alvin for making my day 100% better. And what a terrific veggie sandwich he made!! So glad he suggested I have it toasted first.--Grateful.Chip

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT come here. First, the place was filthy, looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a month. Second, the older lady behind the counter, didn't get her name unfortunately, was extremely rude and unprofessional. Like I was bothering her by being a customer. I kid you not, she was intentionally moving at a snail's pace, as if it was out of passive aggression for hating her job. My convalescent grandmother moves faster than that. I went against my better judgement by eating the stale sandwich, I should have just walked out. Save yourself the trouble and go to the other subway in the shopping center right on the other side of the freeway. The quality is way better.

This is the best most generous subway I’ve ever been to. They really load up the sandwiches. The lady at the counter who i assume is the owner was appreciative of my business. This place sells good sandwiches.

This location does not honor subway coupons. The lady there, I'm assuming the owner, said "it makes the sandwiches too cheap." I thought the point of coupons is to bring people in, not BAIT AND SWITCH the customers.So I left.If an owner is that aggressive at cutting corners, just imagine what they're probably willing to do with the food you'll be eating, like when it comes to expiration dates, good quality and safety.You're better off going to the subway on the other side of the freeway, about one minute away, where they honor Subway coupons and are less likely to feed you expired meat.
I really wasn’t there. I can’t recommend it one way or the other.

As a frequent customer of Subway I have to say that I quite disappointed by the professionalism and lack of accountability by the staff at this location.I placed an order from the app and the order was not ready nor processed by the store. I ask the cashier Farrah, if we can make order when I arrived they refused after I show them the receipt that provided the order information and proof that a purchase was made. They told me that I need to call Subway customer service, I ask for the phone number and they do not know the number either.So save yourself the headache and your money and stay away from this location.

Very disappointing. We were headed to go on vacation and wanted to grab some sandwiches on the way. We look up their hours to see it opens at 8 am. We show up at 8:48 with their doors locked and no one inside. How does a restaurant not open when it says it will? Poor management
