Delicious. Stopped in on Valentines 💝. Had halibut & shrimp tacos for lunch. Lobster bisq soup & spinach artichoke dip. Everything was great. We will be back. Thanks

Ingrid was absolutely incredible! Warmly greeted upon coming in, and left so satisfied and excited to come back! It was my first time visiting, and she walked me through the menu and all of the specials, and gave fantastic recommendations. Food was delicious and cocktails were perfect. I look forward to coming back, and absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, intimate spot with first class service.

Cold grilled cheese and luke warm soup. Quality has gone down. Not a great experience.

Very good food and good service. We tried tomato soup, beef rolls and grilled fish - everything was good..they can also split portion into two plates if you want to share.

Seriously the best staff I ever experienced. We'd ask for refill and it would be out within seconds. The service was super fast and neat and they got every order right which I know can be hard for a big group. Just overall super nice staff. Also the halibut dish was absolutely amazing.

We had seen this restaurant for many years, but had never tried it before now. I wish we had sooner! Nice menu with a lot of good choices. Everything we ordered was delicious. I had the pasta less veggie lasagna. It was super flavorful, and reminded me of a really good ratatouille. My husband had the seared ahi, and also the bought it was really good. To add to the charming ambiance, there was a young woman with a great voice singing and playing keyboards. We enjoyed our whole experience. The only drawback was that we originally wanted to sit on the patio, but neither the fireplace nor the heaters were working. Bummer, but the upside was that we got to experience the live music. I would happily go back again, and try some more of the items on the menu.

Went for lunch today and ate on the pleasant patio. Based on other reviews, I ordered “half and half,” so I could try both the tomato soup and the chopped salad. Both were extraordinary. The creamy golden soup was more like lobster bisque I’ve had, but without the lobster of course - not your typical red-orange tomato soup. Really delicious. And the salad was no ordinary ho-hum salad - wonderful, complex flavors. My granddaughter had fish and chips - the fish looked like tempura and the chips were sort of a cross between fries and thick potato chips, crispy and tasty. Service was excellent. Wish I lived closer, I would go to this restaurant frequently - there are many things on the menu I would like to try.

I’ve always liked this place. But we made reservations a couple of weeks ago for Christmas Day. I was just told a few minutes ago that they’re closed on Christmas Day. They shouldn’t have allowed me to make a reservation. Now I have to find another place.

Wonderful selection of meals for Thanksgiving (special menu). Very nice wait staff. Nice location in downtown SJC, close to the Mission and train station.

Everything was perfect. We sat outdoors in beautiful weather. Our reservation time was honored. Service was reasonably prompt. The Cubano sandwiches and salad were superb. The Albariño was reasonably priced and matched the food perfectly. All-in-all, it was just what we expected. We will definitely return to Sundried Tomato the next time we're in SJC.
