LOVED THE PLACE OPEN DOOR FOOD IS GOOD

Server suggested medium rare instead of rare and the steak was served well done. No excuse. Also the “parmigiano” was not Reggiano...plastic.

We came for Valentine's and it was a great experience! It was our 1st time being there and the food was delicious , service was excellent and our booth inside by the fireplace helped to round out a beautiful evening. I can't wait to go back😊

This place is AMAZING. The food is absolutely incredible, bursting with flavor and deliciousness. Bettie, our server, was incredibly knowledgeable. She had the best suggestions and knew what to steer us towards. If you have never been, you definitely need to try. Definitely an excellent date night spot or just grabbing afternoon lunch.

We had a delightful dinner last night at Tavern at the Mission. The service and ambience were excellent and the duck and seabass were good. The only downside/negative was related to the VIP club promotion that was not true. We are members of the VIP club and it that states that all food - all day long - receives a 30% discount. When we ordered, we were told that the discount did not any of the specials (that we ordered). We were very surprised as this was counter to the VIP promotion and terms. The Tavern at the Mission should let every VIP member know that some of the food does not qualify for the VIP discount on Tuesdays. Tarnished the reputation somewhat. Also - It does not show a wine list on their website (would be very helpful).

First time we came this week Emma was our server and she was excellent and the manager Jennifer was very accommodating. I made just a little comment about the lighting above my table and the manager came right over and said and tried to do everything to make the lighting excellent went over and beyond very helpful. Staff is just incredible. Our second visit
Ashley provided excellent service. The food was on par. It was delicious and we enjoyed every bite of it. We’ll definitely come back every time we have a chance.

Our server Emily was very good. We started on the patio but then moved inside due to the noise level. Lovely outside, but much quieter inside.

Although the food tasted nice, the service was absolutely abysmal. We had a 7:30 reservation. Our server clearly didn’t want to be helpful. When we tried to order a second round of drinks, she took our order, left for several minutes and returned to say the bar was closed (at 9:30pm). She told us the restaurant itself closed at 8pm.
There was no indication of last orders for drinks and was reluctant to offer dessert. All the tables were busy when we arrived and there appeared to be plenty of staff. Our group was 10 people and a mandatory gratuity of 20% was added. The receipts also had an additional suggested gratuity 😡

I used to dine at the former Cedar Creek restaurant all the time so when they sold I was sad to see them gone. I have given the new restaurant several try’s hoping the food and the menu would be better but it just isn’t very good. The best part of the restaurant is the outdoor patio and they take dogs but most every restaurant takes dogs in an outdoor dining area.

This is a charming venue with unique dining options and cocktails. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful meal, great service and cozy elegant atmosphere. The shrimp and grits apetizer was delicious. We really enjoyed ourselves! We will be back to try the tumbleweed bar.

The food was OK. Whoever the new owners are have not invested one penny from what the restaurant used to be. Our service wasn't bad, but you can just look around at their service team and tell it is a bunch of junior level, kind of novice players. The patio looks pretty low end, cheap furniture, and the vibe is one of averageness. If you're looking for a higher-end dining experience, this is definitely not it.
