Awesome (and hidden!) place to enjoy live music and have a beer. The beer selection here is GREAT, and the owner and his staff are really cool. Make it a point to come out to this place if you're in the area, for sure.

BrewHouse is the best brewpub in South OC! It feels like a local spot but is warm and welcoming to all. In addition to all the best local beers on a rotating tap list, there's a great variety of specialty beers, ciders, seltzers, kombucha and non-alcoholic bevs.

This place is awesome! The owners and customers are super friendly and welcoming. Nice variety of beers from all over and the bottled mead is delicious too. I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in. I promised I'd be back. I highly recommend this place!
Parking: Too many "20 minute parking" spots but I think they're ignored after the surrounding businesses close.

I was in San Jaun Capistrano waiting for a train to San Diego after hiking the Trans-Catalina Trail. There isn't much open on a Monday afternoon, so I was happy just to find a place to grab a local beer. The Brewhouse exceeded my expectations. I started out with a flight and ended up grabbing a second just to cover most of great local IPAs they had on tap. The owner, Kim, was awesome. Couldn't ask for a better opportunity to grab a taste of so many local brews (including North Park, El Segundo, Humble Sea, and Russian River just to name a few). Highly recommend stopping by if you find yourself in the area. This is a perfect halfway stop between San Diego and LA.

Very chill tap room. Extremely friendly owner/operator and an impressive selection of beers - including local craft brews and international imports. Limited food (pub fare) also available. Reasonably priced flights of four, generously poured.
Greatest beer on tap selection in South County! I gave the Food category a 5 star because I consider Beer a Food. Cool people, cold beer and an even larger selection of cold beer to go. Small bites served and food trucks for more.
