The rooftop is very nice with a bar. There was no wait. The food was average. My dish was good, but my wife said her’s lacked flavor. The service was good, although the server didn’t have all the knowledge he needed to have.
Perfect menu really delicious

Such a beautiful patio overlooking the San Juan Capistrano mission. My friend and I enjoyed lunch on a Friday and it was not crowded. Our server was very attentive and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!
When every other place had a 45 minute wait wereb able to get seated here right away. The food was great, the service was really good, and they had great live music.
Kid-friendliness: We brought our 4 month old daughter and 9 year old twin nieces. They have a kids menu.

The food is okay but the restaurant and staff leave a lot to be desired. I would describe the restaurant as dingy and in need of updates. The staff had bored and bothered looks on their faces. Drinks also were just okay, nothing special. Also, careful parking in the structure if it’s late at night. There were shady characters hanging around the structure probably waiting for vulnerable females going to their cars.

I came here early during the day on a weekday. The restaurant was pretty empty. Looks like it would be a pretty cool place to come to in the evening. Wondering how the atmosphere would be then. Looks like it gets pretty busy with all the tables they have out.

Lovely patio with terrific food. Archie and his staff have done a fantastic job. I highly reccomend the gran torino cocktail and the grilled chicken sandwich. Please make sure you drop in when in San Juan Capistrano

The food is terrible. I would not go back. I don’t typically write reviews but do read them for restaurants I want to try. I’m leaving a review so you don’t make the mistake of going here. The food is very greasy aand overall not enjoyable!

Rooftop location is great on a warm summer night. Lots of umbrellas and shades to keep the direct sun off of you, but the place needs work. There is an excellent guitarist/singer performing there, at least on the Saturday night we were there, but the volume is so loud we couldn’t converse with our friends at the four top. They moved us to one of two inside rooms . . . And soon placed a group of twelve or so near us, raising the volume right back up. Food came fairly quickly but my “medium rare, please “ burger was quite Well done. My friends fried chicken sandwich was also over cooked. Branzino and pappardelle entrees were fine. My burger was replaced by one that was missing the bacon topping. It was removed from the bill but there was no “How is everything” for the replacement or for anyone else. Somehow the place also managed to cancel our OpenTable reservation a few hours after we left instead of checking us in, and we certainly gave our name when we arrived. Space is upstairs but there is an elevator and an escalator for those who can’t climb stairs.
Great food, drinks, music, and views. What's not to love? Highly recommend. Thanks for a great meal.

Nice patio to sit on top of the rooftop with a view of the Mission. We came in during Happy Hour (4-6pm), ordered ceviche, the rooftop burger and pulled pork sandwich. Food was prepared fresh but generally lacked flavor for all 3. We enjoyed the view and open air and so was our dog. Toward the end of the meal there was a large private party came in and took over the covered area next to us. We felt weird sitting there and left. Wish they told us that before we sat down. Otherwise we would have stayed longer.
