Every cup is brewed with care, tradition, and a touch of serenity. Best place to make memories with loved ones,

I came to the Tea House hoping to have a pleasurable and fun experience. It came highly recommended to me and everyone in our party. We had our reservation made for months and were looking forward to it for as long. There was 6 of us and we had a reservation and were seated in a timely manner.

After being seated and served water to start our service took a turn for the worst. We were seated in a room with one other party similarly sized to us. While we waited to be approached again we talked and I feel it's important to note that we were talking in Spanish and the waitress was present attending the other table while we talked. When our waitress--a woman with a slight Persian accent- came back in after 15 minutes to take our order she seemed rushed and not at all happy to be waiting on us. We took turns placing our orders and at no time did she ask us questions about our preferences or what Tea we were wanting to have with our Tea packages. She seemed irritated when the younger members in our party asked her to repeat the options they had to choose from for their food selection. Once our order was placed we got out initial drinks but not without mistakes-which they later attempted to charge us for. We then waited another 20 minutes before any of our baked goods came while the other table got their items and was checked on by her multiple times. We were able to flag down another waitress who was more than happy to help us and brought our items out almost immediately after we told her that we were still waiting to be served and that our orders had been placed. We intended to spend a couple hours there talking and having fun-as that is the implied purpose of visiting the tea house- but the time we spent in there was over extended by the bad service and our extra wait time and having to pull servers from other areas to place orders for things not in our pre-picked menu selections. At the end of our visit we were given a bill attempting to charge us for a couple things they had mistakenly brought our table and which we had immediately pointed out had not been ordered and had taken back. While we were wrapping up the- I'm assuming- manager came up and told us very bluntly to leave and that we could pay at the front because they needed to seat other people. No gentle approach, no niceties in her voice just a go pay and leave.

It may seem like a far reach but my party and I felt cheated of what we expected to be a fun experience by what felt like blatant racism and disregard. One doesn't go anywhere, much less such a popular and positively talked about establishment, expecting to be treated differently from the other patrons just for speaking in another language.

The food and tea were delicious and the wait staff which helped us from other sections was very amicable and helpful these are the only redeeming qualities that bring this review from 1 star to 2.

Ordered two scones for takeout and they charged me $5 per scone and $10 (Tax incl) for two tiny packs of cream and jam. Absurd is that they didn't even disclose this. Beautiful garden but terribly untransparent business practices.

Wow!!!!! I have been to this tea house four times and yesterday was the worst service I've ever experienced at ANY RESTAURANT. There were 8 of us in our party.. our reservation was at 2:15 pm, we did not get out of there til 5:30!!!! 3 hours to get served tea and sandwiches. Ridiculous!!!! Our pots of tea sat on the table, cold.... needing to be refreshed, one of the sandwiches came out so hard it was comical! The server forgot to serve the mimosas that were ordered and blamed the bartender lol wow! But wait, the best part was when the check came and the servers tip was already on the receipt for 20%! So we all had to leave a fat tip for the worst service! I wouldn't have left her a penny. The server nor the manger never asked us during the three hours we were there, if we needed anything... was everything ok...I will never go back to this tea house.. oh, and the server seemed annoyed anytime i questioned when the drinks, salad, sandwiches were coming out?? I mean it only took three hours! Don't come here!!!! Ridiculous!

It’s *really* pretty. Everything about it, the food, the ambiance the view to the street. And the service is some of the best I’ve had, genuinely charming and attentive to our needs, quite able to advise on the tea menu. Their gluten free options, meanwhile, are excellent.

Only trouble is the that the food, while quite elegant, doesn’t taste all that good. The sandwiches are mostly kind of boring, and the macaroons were so sweet I spat into my empty teacup rather than swallow the concoction. The soup was pretty good, but more “tasty” than delicious. We both got the $48 high tea, the name of which eludes me, so maybe other dishes taste better, but my guess is that the overall experience is so good that they’re busy enough not to care much their food is mediocre.

There are not many places we choose to come back to over and over again. The Tea House is one of them. The selection of teas are vast and delicious. My wife and I had salmon and burrata salad. Exceptional. But the highlight of it all? Our server Morgan. Her kindness, knowledge of the menu, attention to detail, and overall joy and warmth are truly unmatched. We are already looking forward to our next reservation.

Our review is pretty much the same someone left a couple of weeks ago. The location and setting are absolutely wonderful, perfection. There was a pre fix menu in early January, so the total was over 400.00 for 3 women and a child. We loved the experience, the tea and scones were excellent. Everything else was mediocre at best, including the dessert, that shocked us. Had it all been like the tea rooms we usually patron we’d have been raving due to the location. We’re glad we went for the experience, but would only go for tea and scones in the future.

My husband surprised me with a visit to the tea house for the holidays. It was an amazing experience with courteous and attentive staff and absolutely delicious food.

For $89 before tax and tip each, the holiday tea menu disappointed us greatly.

The scone and teas were lovely, but the "sandwiches" and desserts were mediocre at best. We only liked one of the six sandwiches (the sliced turkey), which is simple and probably hard for any restaurant to get wrong. Two of the other sandwiches (the Brie pastry and smoked duck crostini) seemed like they would have been better served warm, but were cold, perhaps due to an overworked kitchen that wants to rush out food. The "ham salad" was particularly unappealing, in both taste and appearance.

Atmosphere wise, the tea house is very cute and every team member was a delight. We just wish we didn't feel scammed out of $200+ for a disappointing experience.

Such a quaint tea house, large selection of teas. Some sandwiches were a bit dry.

Weekend reservations are few and far between so when a day opened up for a last minute Sunday , my friends and I jumped on the opportunity. This wasn't my first time here and I find myself wanting to come back again and again. Tea, food, atmosphere is top notch and what you'd expect at a high tea experience.

First time here and overall, I was quite disappointed. Booked a party of 9 three months ago and got sat outside. Wish they gave us the option of requesting an inside table as I booked so far in advance and walk ups were given the choice of either inside or outside. Server took the time to explain the menu and accommodated the allergies and food restrictions well. However, I was disappointed with our service as everyone around us was getting served rather quickly, while we had to flag down someone multiple times for water refills, sugar for the tea, and for the heater to be out on. We got sat down at 11am and it took a long time to order. We didn’t get our first plates of food/scones and tea until after 12pm. We were told at 12:30 that the soup we ordered ran out. We got our new soups at 12:45 and they were cold. Our sandwiches came out 25 minutes after that. By 1:30, everyone else around us is now gone, aside for one new table and we’re told our server is going on break and not coming back. The new server was able to bring our desserts and check out quickly after we asked,so we could catch our 2pm train back. One tea service was missing from the bill, explains why our guests’ food kept getting delayed. We notified the new server so we could pay appropriately. Overall, disappointed and will be looking into other tea houses for now. But do hope to come back with a smaller party in the far future and have a better experience.

Cutest decor. Service was outstanding! Drinks are great. I had the espresso martini and it was delish!🍸 Some of the food was a little bland but all and all, it was good. Would definitely return. ☕️

I came here not expecting much and was pretty disappointed. We didn’t find out until after they brought us our tea that there is a $22 minimum order per person. This should have been communicated before even seating us. We expressed that we wouldn’t have sat down if we had known and there was no effort to accommodate the misunderstanding/miscommunication and felt forced to stay. We felt pretty uncomfortable the rest of the time there and wanted to leave. Food and tea were okay, but certainly nothing special.

My family and I did the Autumn Harvest dinner, and we loved it! It came with a guided tour of local ghoat legends and a wonderful 3 course dinner. There were many beautifully decorated areas and a ghost actor entertaining for the entire night. The staff was also wonderful!
