We got a bunch of stuff but the only good ones were the lamb and fried noodle... I was surprised (and disappointed) that the chives and the enoki mushroom were so watery as I was definitely expecting something grilled. The beef skewers were so dry that we almost didn't finish what we ordered. A bit overpriced too.

Allie Daddy's BBQ is located in the Washington Manor neighborhood of San Leandro. Situated a few miles from the 880 freeway, this small family owned restaurant serves your mainstay Cantonese foods (Fried Rice, Chow Mien, Etc..) while also serving grilled skewers not typically found in a neighborhood restaurant. Plenty of parking in the small strip mall and the restaurant could seat possibly 50 people?!! I believe they do more take-out than sit-in but the place is clean and high ceilinged so you won't feel claustrophobic. We ordered take out of: - Pork Belly Skewers (Mild Spice) - Lamb Skewers (Mild) - Chicken Wing Skewers (Mild) - Garlic Eggplant (lots of garlic) - Grilled Scallops (4) - Salted Fish and Chicken Fried Rice (tastes right although could stand for more Salted Fish) - Singapore Noodles (okay) Liked the Skewers, Eggplant, and Fried Rice the most. Everything was good and tasty although a bit pricey. Go to if you need grilled meat and are in the neighborhood.

If you're looking for some late night Chinese food, this is the spot!!! A bit pricey but late night options are very limited in the Hayward San Leandro area. My fav from this place is actually the chow fun!!! They use the thick rice noodles that doesn't stick together. Not too salty, just the perfect amount of umami. Lamb and pork belly skewers were also excellent. Chives were a bit too chewy. Eggplant was delicious but there is a LOT of garlic on it. Wish the table had soy sauce and chili oil condiments. FYI they also offer soju and beer!

Good place to eat Chinese BBQ! Chinese favor! I like it! Just a little expensive, it is $6.5 for one eggplant BBQ. If the price can get lower a little bit, it will be great!

Meat skewers are well seasoned, tender, and freshly grilled. Just a tad bit on the pricey side. Surprisingly, the fried rice and noodle soups are super good. Everything taste very fresh!!

I Recommend the fried bun - bit expensive and they are tiny but worth it. Corn on the cob Got the chicken wing - next time would get a regular chicken on the stick. Eggplant was good especially if you are a garlic lover And the Salted fish and chicken fried rice so good.

Got the normal spice level with food like the baby octopus, beef, pork, lamb rack, enoki mushrooms, and the potato. One thing that I was bothered by was how it was a bit salty. Other than that the food was good. I really liked the octopus and the potato.

Popcorn chicken is okay, I prefer boba places' popcorn chicken but that's just my preference. The fried squid is cooked perfectly! Not over cooked & chewy, soft and tender to the bite. The bbq sticks we orders were good & simple. We ordered mild seasoning, however it was slightly spicy. Most of their items were cooked pretty well! I enjoyed this place, the service was kind and quick. The area itself is decent and clean. Overall, we will return and hope this place stays open later! It's a great place for late night food runs or friends gathering.

Horrible service!!! Blacklisted!!! I ordered a pick up from doordash. When I went into the restaurant to pick up the order, I have the doordash app order page ready to show the waitress, who name Ivy, for verify. It was a screen shot. She asked me to login to my doordash app, and which I did. However, she kept trying to give me a hard time by asking my ID to verify. I am like OK. I show her my ID. At this point, I thought it was pretty verified that I am the one making the order becasue she said the food was not ready. I waited for about 8 minutes. When she handed me the food, I quote and she said, " THIS IS THE LAST TIME I AM GIVING FOOD TO SCAMMER LIKE YOU. YOU WILL BE BLACKLISTED." I am like what is going on. I found out the cell phone number on the doordash account is my friends'. Also, I found out during the wait time, she had doordash to call my friend, and my friend had already let doordash know I am the account owner, and I will be the one picking up the order. Even doordash verified, and I provided the app order page and my ID. How dare she could say that to a customer. I did not pick up the food, and had my friend to come over. We spoke to the business owner, who name Jimmy, on the phone. He could not solve the situation at the moment. He offered a refund and that's it. I told him I can actually contact doordash, report the situation, and have my money back. The problem is HOW DARE YOUR STAFF CAN TREAT CUSTOMER LIKE THAT!!!!! I recorded that I never picked up the food and left. This restaurant is horrible becasue during the time I was talking to the business owner on the phone, I saw two customers came in and the waitress, Ivy, just hand over the food to them by saying the name. Then I have an conclusion: If you are wearing expensive clothing, I am pretty sure you can randomly pick up other customer's order. Nice judgment, Ivy. That makes sense. Also, I think if I pull out 20 dollars for tip, I will definitely be treated differently. Finally, to Ivy, you are not the one going to blacklist me. I am going to blacklist this restaurant becasue of your "judgment". Here is the tip for others who are going to do order pick up, good luck, prepare your tip, and wear expensive clothing.

When we first walked in, we were warmly greeted. But we were definitely stared at by the other guests. I really enjoyed the expo market type menu. But unfortunately most things we ordered were out. The food took a little while but it was to be expected. The food came on a stick and it was pretty underwhelming. We got quail eggs and after 15 minutes, it was the first to arrive. It was four quail eggs on a stick. It was so interesting. Luckily the rest of the food came out. TLDR. The food was underwhelming but the experience was fun

Food here is not good flavored and bbq skews are very dry. Worst Chinese bbq I have had in the Bay Area. It might be a choice if you don't wanna drive far. But from now on I will choose to drive to fremont for better Chinese bbq skews.

I'm ok with it not overwhelmed with the food. If i can't remember it, I'm either old or it didn't leave a lasting impression.

Wow I wish I found this place earlier! I actually found out this place because I was trying out the chicken pho next door for the first time. Love this bbq place! The meats and veggies are yummy . And with a nice ice cold beer! Yes! Maybe be time I would ask if they can make the meats a little more crispy! But other than that, We had picked up togo for our order. The ladies that work there are really nice and polite. They are bilingual. If you speak Chinese, you can order in Mandarin as well. Order was made on time as stated. Even thou we did not eat in the restaurant we still tipped as if we did. Please tip your server well since they still provide a service of packing and taking your order. We will definitely order again! So far this is the only place I know locally that serve this style of Chinese bbq. Give them a try!
