I came here for the ramen but I’m unaware of any restaurants that don’t offer you a cup of water upon request. It’s for purchase only. That’s why it’s receiving one star. Ramen is good but the attitude and service of the worker/owner negates the food.

I have no idea how this place got such good reviews. Atmosphere: it's a strip mall, few people, lots of cars. Restaurant is empty at 1pm on a Thursday. Service: you have to order yourself on a screen, no option to make a ramen as vegetarian. Also service: there is no restroom. Food: it's all yellow, like chicken is yellow fried, rice is yellow, it's weird. Every dish is more yellow than it should be, don't know what spices they use.

Stopped in to get some lunch and was blown away by this gem of a restaurant. I got the tonkatsu black ramen, along with some fried pickles. The ramen was fantastic, rich creamy broth, pork chashu that just melts in your mouth, and the eggs are nice and soft. Fried pickles were fresh and crispy, delicious. Service was fast and friendly, portions were generous and filling, and prices were reasonable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious bowl of ramen.

I stopped in here for lunch recently and was absolutely delighted. Their tonkotsu ramen is a perfectly balanced and very satisfying bowl, rich and meaty without being too heavy. I prefer firmer, springy noodles and these were exactly to my taste. I also had the fried pickles and I'd also recommend those highly - fried to order, perfectly crispy, no lack of pickle flavor.

This is the best ramen in the San Leandro Hayward area, in my opinion. It is authentic Japanese ramen, made by real Japanese chef, not by Chinese or Mexican. The broth and ramen are what separates from this place to other restaurants. The broth is creamy and smooth but not oily. Left it overnight. There's hardly any oil sitting on the top. The broth is not filling like other places. The noodles are springy and bouncy. The egg is perfectly cooked with the yolk runny inside. Although the owner is the only person who works and manages the place. It has a kiosk to take order, and the food is prepared relatively fast. He is very generous, and every time I go with my kids, he always gives us some appetizers for free. I really appreciate the food and his service

I never see this place open it show is in business, it is very bizarre, it appears is operating maybe a ghost kitchen?

Best ramen shop in the area. Here I had the best bowl of ramen in my life. And the chef was very kind and gave my daughter free treats!

Love supporting small businesses. First time trying it today and ordered to go. It's a small space, you order through a kiosk or through the owner/chef. Needless to say, was really impressed with the ramen and the broth. My son and I ordered The Tonkatsu and my wife ordered the champon. Even for to go the portion is really good, really great to have a good ramen place 5 mins from our place.
