Stopped in to get some lunch and was blown away by this gem of a restaurant. I got the tonkatsu black ramen, along with some fried pickles. The ramen was fantastic, rich creamy broth, pork chashu that just melts in your mouth, and the eggs are nice and soft. Fried pickles were fresh and crispy, delicious. Service was fast and friendly, portions were generous and filling, and prices were reasonable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious bowl of ramen.
I stopped in here for lunch recently and was absolutely delighted. Their tonkotsu ramen is a perfectly balanced and very satisfying bowl, rich and meaty without being too heavy. I prefer firmer, springy noodles and these were exactly to my taste. I also had the fried pickles and I'd also recommend those highly - fried to order, perfectly crispy, no lack of pickle flavor.
This is the best ramen in the San Leandro Hayward area, in my opinion. It is authentic Japanese ramen, made by real Japanese chef, not by Chinese or Mexican. The broth and ramen are what separates from this place to other restaurants. The broth is creamy and smooth but not oily. Left it overnight. There's hardly any oil sitting on the top. The broth is not filling like other places. The noodles are springy and bouncy. The egg is perfectly cooked with the yolk runny inside....
