The best bread in the East Bay. I always go there and buy more than one. And more sweets on the top. Cookies and the blueberry crisp. Omg. So good!
Best bakery in town and a source of San Leandro pride. Great bread. Great pastries. Great sandwiches. And getting better all the time.
Local woman-owned bakery with fantastic pastries and loaves.
Super Bread !:)
One of our favorite places to buy bread from! We’ve tried almost all & our favorite is the honey rye porridge bread. Recently tried the mandelhornchen which is an almond pastry & it’s definitely a repeat buy!
I discovered this bakery today, thank you to the other online reviews. I wanted to get a loaf of baguette, but didn’t feel like driving to Acme bakery in Berkeley….typed in bakery in Google and this place popped up. I decided to stop in and try one of their French baguettes. I am so glad I did. It is delicious. The crust was cripy but not overly hard & the bread was soft & moist. I’m very delighted that they use organic wheat flour. The price was also very reasonable. Definitely will be coming back to try the other baked items. Great little gourmet bakery in San Leandro.

Yummy deserts ♥️♥️♥️ and great personalities.
The miche loaf is consistently excellent and pairs well with a variety of foods. Had it with dungeness crab and garlic butter recently.
Everything is so delicious and fresh. I feel very proud that As Kneaded calls San Leandro home and I get to pop in on a weekday morning before work. I love the cardamom knots and cookies.
This is one of the best bakeries in the bay area. High quality food, no shortcuts used.
Desert was a 5 but bread was just ok. Couldn't see everything since you have to stand outside and look through windows. No dine in.
