One of our favorite places to buy bread from! We’ve tried almost all & our favorite is the honey rye porridge bread. Recently tried the mandelhornchen which is an almond pastry & it’s definitely a repeat buy!

I discovered this bakery today, thank you to the other online reviews. I wanted to get a loaf of baguette, but didn’t feel like driving to Acme bakery in Berkeley….typed in bakery in Google and this place popped up. I decided to stop in and try one of their French baguettes. I am so glad I did. It is delicious. The crust was cripy but not overly hard & the bread was soft & moist. I’m very delighted that they use organic wheat flour. The price was also very reasonable....

Everything is so delicious and fresh. I feel very proud that As Kneaded calls San Leandro home and I get to pop in on a weekday morning before work. I love the cardamom knots and cookies.
