This place is decent for the price, but not going to blow your socks off. Beijing Bowl serves Chinese FAST FOOD, so its important to have your expectations in check when your considering the quality. We usually get the Curry Chicken with a side of fried rice. The Curry Chicken is good because it has nice chunks of boneless chicken with some veggies such as potatoes and onions. I love to use the rice to soak up the surplus sauce. The service is good. The women who are typically at the counter are always eager to please and friendly. PRO-TIP: If you prefer your Chinese food "cooked to order", then just ask - they have some specials where they are happy to do this for you.

Beijing bowl has great service and affordable delicious food! The two young ladies are always so friendly and they pile on the food onto the plates lol. For two plates I pay about $25 and there's always leftovers. There is also plenty of parking.

This is one of my favorite American Chinese food spot in the east bay. You will know why this place is popular when the server does everything she can to stuff more food in your container. My wife was murmering "I think that's enough" as the server was packing all the meat and she rarely ever says that. Overall, great bang for your money here.Plus they have shrimp with lobster sauce that's not in the menu. I come from east coast and it was my bread and butter dish but it seems hard to find in west coast. Wait into this facility to have dinner? I started to pay for the bill as I paid for the bill. They asked me if I had a penny. I said no I don't. They said well. I need a penny and wanted to argue about one penny. That was embarrassing and unbelievable. Even though I gave him the next to dollar. They wouldn't give me the chance they just wanted the penny. I don't understand these people, but anyway the food was lousy. The service was lousy. Everything was lousy and it ended very pitiful. I did not recommend this facility. It's hard to park. They don't know what the h*** they're doing. I can keep going but I won't I do not recommend this facility

Beijing Bowl is the reason I wake up in the morning. If I'm smiling, it's because i've thought about Beijing Bowl. If Beijing Bowl has one fan, I am that fan. The food here is so good. They have a very unique vegetarian menu, which I greatly appreciate. The orange tofu is to die for!! The portions are huge. If I ate meat I'd be here every day, you can get a combo with three entrees & one side for less than $11 (veg options are a la carte)! My takeout always lasts me 2-3 days because the portions are so generous. The service is very nice. I appreciate how kind the employees are & how they take the time to get to know you. It has that home feeling a lot of establishments lack now. The ambiance is familiar and kind. It feels like there is a community within here. It's an older building but has a lot of character. Wait can be a little long so call in & order if you're in a rush. Definitely worth it to support such a nice small business though!
