They replaced raisins on the salad bar with broccoli and today they had snow crab instead of Dungeness crab. I wasted my money
We hadn't stopped by La Fortuna Buffet in a long time. It was yummy. Everything is cooked fresh and is nice and hot. 10 of us 5 adults/ 5 kids all had dinner for $200+. There was something for everyone . Oysters, chow fun, shrimp, fried chicken, macaroni n cheese, corn , salads all the yummy foods are there. So good I forgot to take pictures! Wonderful desserts, all the fountain drinks you want even a scoop of ice cream. Every table gets cleaned off right away. Nice staff. I'm definitely adding this to our restaurant rotation again ..
Love this place it was not crowded
While paying, they ask for a tip. Before you've even sat down or looked over the serving tables. There wasn't much selection and what was out, had been left out for far too long.
I've been going here since I was a child and I'm 40 now. My granny use to take me and my family and now me and my sister take our families. The food is always fresh and the people who work here are always so welcoming.
my first time there the food is great I just don't like when I'm bringing someone that they're going to sit there and stare at me the whole time I felt uncomfortable
Kids were wanting pizza 🍕
Food was not kept at proper temperature
Good value for the food. Excellent service and open late for San Leandro
Very bad and disappointing first experience here. Food is not fresh and made me and my family have diarrhea. I witness a lady throwing up in the bathroom because the shrimp was old, spoiled, and stinky like poop. Oysters were old and dry, not juicy. Snow crab legs were short and small. Soups were bad- clam chowder tastes like it came from a can and hot and sour soup was too watery. This was not worth $25 per person because the food selection is small and does not have good variety. There was no dim sum.
There are better buffets that serve fresh food and will not make you sick.

Yesterday, first time walking in the buffet with my family and had the worst experience. $25.99 a person for horrible food, very disappointed. Over $100 wasted for a small selection of food. Most of the foods in the buffet served old food, not fresh enough. Oysters are very small, too dry and not juicy enough. It's almost like they weren't fresh. Shrimps smell bad and stinky, I even witness a lady's throwing up in the bathroom. For the soup selection, it felt like they used a can to serve to people. Example such as the clam chowder which felt like it came from a can. Therefore, when my family came home, my sister and dad experience getting diarrhea. My mom's stomach started to hurt due to the food that they put out. I am disappointed, will never come back again. Guys, please avoid this buffet since there are better buffets out there to spent your hardworking money. Don't risk and waste your money for horrendous food.
Terrible service. I came at 8 and there was nothing, all the trays were almost empty. I also came with my niece. They charged for the entrance fee for the 3 of us and there was literally nothing. I don't recommend flirting at all.
Its nothing super fancy, but if you want to eat decent food with the family, its worth it.
Its mostly sushi, seafood, chinese fast food, and fruit/vegetable salads. Fries and chicken nuggets for the picky eaters, too.
Nasty - made me sick... bathrooms were dirty
16.99 plus tax for lunch is not bad at all. Food is ok but my favorite are the short ribs. I see alot of negative comments about the food but remember how much your paying. Go to milpitas/san jose if you want to pay double
