Best steak/chicken nachos 😋

Food is delicious. But in my experience the staff doesn't understand English and they answer phones to take orders and they act like they understand. I got there to pick up my order and she did not have it ready. Doesn't apologize ... Then acts like she will get my order ready at that moment, for 4 tacos it was $45 ale carte! I said forget it and walked out . There are too many taco places with better service.

They're carne Asada is chewy and dry. And sometimes it takes forever and ever to get your order in. Besides the asado they do some other things. Pretty damn good. Like their pastor and carnitas. Freshly made tortillas are good as well

Absolutely delicious food. Meat is soft and well seasoned. The salsa verde is sweet, smoky, and a little spicy (there are spicier options). Love the roasted peppers and onions too.

Great service too, he even asked if I'd like to try a taste of the carnitas before I put it in my burrito, just in case.

It's also pretty cheap all things considered, if you're looking to compare it to something like Chipotle, there's literally no contest.

If you're in the area and you have a choice to come here or somewhere else, if the rest of it didn't sell you, the vibe is pretty chill here too. Small shop, big heart. 5/5 100%

I have been coming periodically since this restaurant has opened, and the food was delicious, and it has always been excellent customer service and wonderful energy upon walking in. Because of the previous great service, I have referred several of my fellow colleagues of physicians and other hospital staff to this place. I have been informed that they will never return after ive explained my experience 01/27/25. Today unfortunately, is the reason I will never return to The Taco Bar.. I came in with my son around 4pm this afternoon, and there was an older hispanic lady pulling I assume daily transactions at the register, and there was a younger hispanic lady just..there. We stood there for about 15 minutes and we're never once acknowledged. The younger employee and I made eye contact, she rolled her eyes and still said nothing TO THE PAYING CUSTOMER!! Because of this blatant disrespect and poor customer service, I chose to spend my money elsewhere. I refuse to spend my money with an establishment of terrible decorum. Next time...treat every customer with respect regardless of what they are.

I was there for my lunch order a bowl and find out there was a little worm 🐛 on the onions the worker offer me a new bowl I said ok then half way I found a hair on the zucchini I bought it to he’s attention I’m never coming back to this place 🤮

Hella snacking. Nice portions. Free chips . Nice people. Hidden gem in the Bay Fair area.

The vegetarian wet burrito was on point

I had their carne asada burrito and it was bussin. I ordered it with all the “extras”; guac, cheese, orange salsa. Meat was tender and flavorful.

I used to live very close to this place and I loved it. The food was amazing and the price was the best. I miss it, I wish they opened all around the bay area so I could still eat their amazing food.

I paid $13 for a burrito And it wasn't even worth it. My co-workers kept on hyping this place up. But their food here is so bland their green sauce isn't even spicy Nothing tastes seasoned.

The quality of the food has gotten significantly worse over the years. How disappointing because there’s not many options near bayfair. Also when you arrive to pick up your DoorDash the food is never ready.
